Dependence Upon the Holy Spirit

You have to make a decision!

 Do you depend upon the teachings of mankind, or do you depend upon the Teacher of the Church (The Holy Spirit) (Jn 14:26,15:26, & 16:13) in your training? That's a decision that only you can make! And it'll decide a great deal! I suggest you take a few minutes, and look up those verses that I just gave you. Then make a decision as to who is the head and who's the helper.

Let's take a minute to look at the difference in trusting one or the other.

The Holy Spirit verses man
The Holy Spirit knows all kid's thoughts man at their best can only guess
The Holy Spirit knows what each kid needs man at their best can only guess

So now I ask you, which one is a better choice to trust?

Does that mean that curriculum no good?

No it does not! What it does mean is that, understanding that a preplanned curriculum is a person giving you a "track" to run on. But it's not to be a cage that keeps you from relying on the Holy Sprit to tailor your class to the kids you are teaching, based on the things mentioned in our table above, It is meant to be instead a springboard so that you have a hat rack to hang your Holy Spirit led creations on!
