Tomorrow may be too late. :o(

Hello everyone. :o) I hope you have enjoyed your visit to my homepage so far. Right now, I would like to take the time to discuss something very important with you. I want to talk to you about salvation. For starters, I would like to share my Grandmothers testimony and how she came to know the Lord. I hope this blesses you. :o) For years, my mother had tried to witness to her. She would pull out her Bible, and start sharing with my Grandmother about salvation. Well, my Grandmother always reacted the same way. She would always tell my mother she didn't want to hear it. Mother tried so hard, but my Grandmother just wouldn't listen. One day about three years ago, my Grandmother got real sick and had to go in the hospital. I went up there to see her one night after work, and my mother met me at the main entrance and said they weren't expecting her to make it through the night. Well, praise God she pulled out of that the next day. Soon after that day, our pastor came by to visit my Grandmother. He shared with her about salvation, and convinced her she needed to be saved. They prayed the sinners prayer together right there in her hospital room, and my Grandmother got saved. A few days after that, she died. I believe with all my heart that God decided to give her one last chance to accept him before he took her life. There may be some of you out there right now reading this message, and God has given you several opportunities to accept him, but you chose to reject him. He may be giving you that one last chance to be saved before he takes your life. I want to share with you now a story out of the Bible where God gave someone one last chance. In luke chapter 23 verses 39 - 43 we find the story of Jesus hanging on the cross between two thieves.

39 One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults on him: "Aren't you the Christ? Save yourself and us."

40 But the other criminal rebuked him. "Don't you fear God," he said, "since you are under the same sentence?

41 We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong."

42 Then he said, "Jesus remember me when you come into your kingdom."

43 Jesus answered him, "I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise."

Jesus gave that thief one last chance to go to heaven. All the thief had to do was call out to Jesus to save him, and he did. Thats all there is to it. Romans 10:13 says this: For, "everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved." Its that easy. Don't keep putting it off though. Tomorrow may be too late.

If you are a Christian, bu have strayed away from God, it is very easy to come back to him. All you have to do is cry out to Jesus, and he will take you back. I am reminded of the story of Peter in Matthew chapter 14 verses 28 - 31

28 "Lord if it is you," Peter replied, "tell me to come to you on the water."

29 "Come," he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water, and came towards Jesus.

30 But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, he cried out, "Lord save me!"

31 Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. "You of little faith," he said, "Why did you doubt."

Peter took his eyes off Jesus, and he started to sink. A lot of Christians today are taking their eyes off Jesus, and they start to sink into sin. All you have to do is cry out to Jesus, and he will pull you out of that sin, and place you back on the solid rock. I hope that all this has blessed you. If you have any questions, or need spiritual help, or just need someone to pray for you, or if you feel I have offended you in any way, feel free to email me at the address below. I have one last thing to share with you. I would like to share the lyrics to a song by the Brave called "Tomorrow.

So you find this world is lonely - no one seems to care.
No second chances - thats why you must believe that
God is really there.
His love comes easy - His love comes free.
So why don't you take it.
You need more time to make up your mind.
But you might not make it.

Tomorrow may never come.
There'll be no more time to run.
Just walk through the door that is open wide.
Tomorrow may never come - let him in.

And I know the dreams we've waited for
Will never come to pass.
Letting go seems like the hardest thing
When you're living in the past.
His love is shining upon a hill
It shines down from heaven.
His love is waiting for you still
So don't wait forever.

Tomorrow may never come.
When all of your days are done.
Just run to the one who is calling.
Tomorrow may never come.

All the words that are spoken straight to your heart
Can't be denied any longer.
His love is pulling you stronger
Calling you home.

Thank you for your time, and God bless. Tim (Jack_Powers from the Christian Coffeehouse)
