I'm only 26 years old, and already I am showing signs of old age. My memory just isn't what it used to be. SOmetimes I will be sitting at my computer, and want something to drink, or want a snack, so I will walk to the Kitchen to get whatever it is I wanted. But by the time I get to the Kitchen, I forgot what I was going in there for, and stand there looking like an idiot. I remember one day I thought of something I needed at the store. Well, I got in my car, and drove to the store. Folks, the store is ONLY a mile up the road. As I am driving up the road, my mind is focused on what it was I am going there to get. I get out of the car, and approach the store, and am picturing in my mind where this thing is I am going to get. I walk in the doors of the store, and spend the next five minutes trying to remember what I came to the store to get. Another thing I am famous for. Every week, I go to the bank to deposit my paycheck, and will keep some money out for spending. When I leave the bank, I will lay the money on the seat of the car to be sure I don't forget it. After I leave the bank, I go to McDonalds. I go into McDonalds and place my order. The girl gives me the total, and i end up having to run to the car to get the money. Thank God I don't do that TOO often. One day I drove to the video store to return a movie. I got ALL the way there, and realised I had left the video at home, and had to go ALL the way back home to get it.
Well, enough about my poor memory. Now I want to talk about the stupid things some people say. I have heard Parents say some pretty dumb things to thier kids. Stuff like "If you cut your legs off with that Lawn Mower, don't come running to me." "If you fall out of that tree and break your neck, you can't go shopping with me later." "If you poke your eyes out with that stick, I won't take you to the movies tonight." Why do Parents say these things? Another one Parents are famous for: "Go get me something to spank you with." And I've seen kids dumb enough to go rip a branch off a tree and bring it back to thier Parents. I remember when I was a kid. We used to go on Family vacation every year to see my Grandparents. My Father would always drive. He REFUSED to let anyone else drive. We would be riding down the road. Dad was driving, and we 3 kids were cutting up in the back seat. Dad would get a little upset, and say "Don't make me come back there."
Then we would REALLY get him rattled, and he would reach over the back seat, and start swatting at us. The car would be swerving all over the road. How would you like to explain THAT to the cop that pulls you over?
Parents aren't the only ones who say stupid things though. Here is the scene: There has been a serious automobile accident. The first officer to arrive at the scene approaches the first car, and sees a car full of people. He sees a man covered in blod, holding his arm which is OBVIOUSLY broken. What is the first thing the officer says? "Did anyone get hurt?" How about this: You are driving 90 miles an hour in a 55 MPH zone. The policeman pulls you over, and approaches your car. What is the first thing he will ask you? "Do you know why I stopped you?" You know what you should do? Next time a cop asks you that, say "To ask me if I have any Grey Poupon?" That'll get thier attention. I LOVE fast food restaurants. Especially the drive thru. You pull up to the order box, and what do they say? "Can I take your order?" Well, I would hope they can. Otherwise they shouldn't be working there.
I'm sure you have all enjoyed these stories I have shared, and enjoyed a good laugh. Folks, lets face it, we live in sad times today. We live in a country where we have let the devil take control. We have kicked God out of America, and by doing so, we have let the devil take over. Parents refuse to take thier kids to Church, and won't let them go with friends, and then they wonder why thier kids act the way they do. WAKE UP AMERICA!!!!! We need Jesus! God has been kicked out of a lot of schools today. In the old days, there was no violence in school. The worst problems they had was talking in class. Look how thinks have changed people! Kids today are allowed to wear satanic T-shirts to school, and they cuss at thier teachers, and nothing is said. In some schools, if a child is seen wearing a Christian T-shirt, they are kicked out. By kicking God out of our schools, we have allowed satan to control them, and we wonder why all these killings are going on in our schools. WAKE UP AMERICA!!!!! We need Jesus!!! I remember when I was in High School. THey used to play music between classes to get the kids motivated to go to class. I asked them one day what kind of music they were allowed to play. He said anything but hard rock, and Christian music. They have kicked God out of that school, which means they have allowed the devil to take over. I remember they used t have a LOT of fights at that school. People just couldn't understand why this was going on. WAKE UP AMERICA!!!!! We need Jesus!!!!
Folks, God is looking for a few good Men, and Women who are not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. God is looking for people to stand up, and BOLDLY proclaim that WE WANT GOD IN AMERICA!!!! The Politicians won't do it, the Teachers won't do it. It's up to us as Christians to take a stand. Who among you will be willing to call upon the Lord every day, and ask him to take control of America again? WHo is willing to Boldly proclaim the name of Jesus, and risk getting laughed at, mocked, maybe even hurt, or killed? Do you have the guts to take a stand for Jesus, or will you be afraid of what may happen to you, and keep quiet. The Bible teaches us to go out into the World and teach ALL nations the Gospel. Come on America, it's time to storm the gates of hell, and reclaim America for JESUS!!!!
