Miss South Carolina Visits Pageland Middle

On October 20, students at Pageland Middle kicked off Red Ribbon Week with a visit from this year’s MissSouth Carolina, Windy Willis. She talked to the students about the importance of turning down drugs, alcohol,and all forms of tobacco. Willis stated, “Respect yourself and others. Say ‘no’ to substance abuse.” Each yearPageland Middle and other schools across the nation celebrate Red Ribbon Week. During Red Ribbon Weekstudents wear red ribbons to show the importance of being drug-free.
