Students Participate in Semi-Annual Keyboarding Competition

The semi-annual keyboarding competition was held April 29, 1999 at Jefferson Elementary. Brian Benton,Darron Kirkley, and Krystle Lockhart participated in the competition. The event was coordinated by TammyHaile, Technology Instructor for Career and Technology Education, and eighth grade keyboarding teachersacross the county. "This event will be held every semester so that all eighth graders in the county will have theopportunity to be recognized for superior keyboarding skills," Haile said. All eighth graders at PagelandMiddle and throughout Chesterfield County take one semester of keyboarding. Angie Bush is the keyboardinginstructor at Pageland Middle.
