Pageland Middle Students Named South Carolina Junior Scholars

Two students at Pageland Middle have been named Junior Scholars by the South Carolina Department ofEducation. Darron Kirkley and Nikki Sims and their parents were honored at reception at ChesterfieldMiddle March 1. Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum Dr. David Sherbine was the guest speaker andurged students to strive to do their best. Certificates were presented to the students by Superintendent Dr.Renfro Manning and Director of Elementary Education, Jerry Hicks. Hicks coordinated the event. To be named a Junior Scholar a students must score at least a 50 on one part of the PSAT. The Eagle One NewsTeam salutes these students.
