Construction To Begin Soon At Pageland Middle

Construction on the new wing at Pageland Middle School should begin in November. Included in the new wing are a library, a cafeteria/kitchen, a band room, a science lab, and twelve new classrooms. A new parking area will also be created in addition to the 41,000 square foot expansion of the building. Teachers will park their cars behind the main building. The bus area will be on the east side of the school. The parent pick-up and drop-off area will be on the west side of the school near the gym. The building which now has a cafeteria, library, computer lab, and two classsrooms will be demolished. There may be a time during the building change when lunches will have to be brought from elsewhere for Pageland Middle School.
