Some Hands were cruel, but this one was absolutely heartless. It's "experiments" were destined for suffering. F21 was an experiment in nerveless norns. She wasn't supposed to feel pain. But she did. A mistake in her DNA caused her to be mute. The poor norn was slapped and slapped, even as a baby. And she couldn't object.
In a desperate attempt to socialze, she walked over to a beautiful male named D2. He was an experiment in all good things. Charmed by her cuteness, he smiled and said:
"push norn. yes norn."He kissed her, and was expecting her to speak. He was momentarily upset, but he honestly thought she was adorable. "egg. norn push.Kiss-POP"
F21 moped around. She was in awful pain but couldn't express it. As she walked into the submarine bay, she spotted an old norn. He saw the ook on her face.
"Something wrong, pretty one?" THe words were unfamiliar, but she understood them. She nodded. "Lucy can help. Lucy!" Another old norn appeared from nowhere.
"oh, honey, you are so young!" She frowned. "Albert, go away!"
F21 stared in awe at the egg that lay at her feet. She looked, wide-eyed, at the heavenly object.
"First egg. Well a girl has alot. Be prepared." F21 smiled as Albert sauntered through the lush jungle.
"You need a name. A proper one."
"I really think she is mute, or somewhat."
"Maybe. I like the name Allison."
"No! Sometimes I think you are just one of those crazies!" And F21 watched the two, and got bored. She wasn't smart, so she pushed a button and wen up to the port. And then her big eyes got wider as she saw a hideous green carcass getting of the boat.
"Garraugh" She listened to it and then nearly broke the lift. She ran to the trolley and across to the hives.There she saw D2 being mobbed by another ggrendel. The one thing in her little head was "no grendel".
As F21 sat speculating, she thought about "Allison". "Allison," she thought, "F21 Allison."
