They meet at The Scout Hall in Mason Street, Thirlmere on Friday night 7pm to 9pm. Ventures do all that the younger troops participate in with wider guidelines with Ventures enjoying the role of supplying, working out the details for outings. Your achievements to earn it will include a weekend initiative course - a test of determination and self-reliance. THE QUEEN'S SCOUT AWARD This can be achieved before you turn 18 as a Venturer and the special test is a weekend leadership course. It's the ultimate Scouting achievement.
