Year's Events

June 13, 1094: The first strike. Wyrmmes travelling from Drakoria are mysteriously slain in the inn they were residing at in the city of Creel. When asked by potential witnesses, no one could offer any direct clues as to why, save "They were wyrmmes. They were risking their own life coming onto Kasurian soil." Others found it to be a shame as despite their species, they were pleasant and kind folk. With them, they also had a daughter, but her tiny body was never found. She was believed to be dead, however

May 4th, 1123: Passareen. A family of wyrmmes in the area were attacked. Parents and their young, 8 year old son were out on a walk on day when they were attacked by a band of furres. The father, known as Nakahira was able to fend off the three felines, which he described as a grey lynx, a white rat and a coyote. The attack was poorly executed and resulted in the death of the coyote. All three wyrmmes were injured in the fight but made a recovery. They soon moved to a quietier, more private life in the forests near Passareen.

July 23rd, 1149: In Creel, two furres were attacked one evening on their way home from the local tavern. It is said that the two furres in question were well known wyrmme lovers and did what they could to make local and visiting wyrmmes seem at home. Others believed one of them was a magically disguised 'lizard' as their offspring were described as 'hideous and scaled'. Both were found and carted to the infirmary that evenig. The furre known as Matthaeus died on the way and his mate, Adelle, spent many days in the infirmary, recovering from her wounds.

August 3rd, 1156: Woodlawn, a wedding was taking place. Though the couple to be wed were not wyrmmes, they were known to have had wyrmme and half wyrmme friends. Another attack took place that night to a group of three; all brothers and all halfbreeds. Though the twins, Forest and Pheanyx, managed to escape with minor injuries, their younger five year old brother was killed. One of the furres involved, a lion, was caught. Unfortunately, before they could interrogate him, he slit his own throat.

The recent happening..
October 12th, 1159: Sixty two years ago, an inn known as the Silver Phoenix was built in the forests surrounding the Old Wyrmme Ruins. For a very long time, it was just an inn for wary travellers, run by the Darlachs; a family of equines known for their talent in baking and cooking fine homemade meals. As the years passed, it's territory soon made room to a neightbor building, a barn. The old inn was growing increasingly popular for its meals and the ice wine it had in sotre from a local wine maker who lived about half a mile away.
Up until twenty years ago, it remained just a traveller's inn, until the current owner, Raven and his old friend, Narthalyssk, decided to turn it into something more. With the help of others, they began building houses surrounding the area as well as expand on what they already had. It took six years, but when it was done, a bakery/store and an infirmary were added to the area, along with four houses and the plans for more. The Silver Phoenix Inn soon became known as the Silver Phoenix Town. Workers from all around were drawn to the growing village that would soon become secretly known to the right ones as a wyrmme sanctuary.. a place to forget the hate.
As the years ticked away, wyrmme families came and went, the houses added up to six and it was what some would call a paradise.
In the Fall of 1159, however, tragedy struck that evening. The first to catch fire were the house belonging to a family and the inn. Both were soon ablaze, followed by the barns and the other buildings nearby. Elsewhere, the home of the winemaker, Ganis, was set on fire as well. Two lives were claimed by the fire. Trying desperately to put out the flames, the locals were soon under crossbow fire. Some were wounded, but most found shelter from the rain of bolts, watching helplessly as their homes burnt. A rain a few hours later put the fires out and saved the forest, but the loss of lives was tragic. Out of the seven employees, three had died. Of the eight wyrmmes present, two had perished.. including a 4 year old hatchling. Ganis, his daughter and grandson made it to safety, but during the fight, he had lost a grand daughter and son, his house and his winery.
Aftermath: Very little was recoverable in the wreck. A week had passed since anyone returned to the sight to try and reclaim what they could. During the excitement, the residents were split into three groups.. the wyrmmes, the Forresters and the Darlachs.

Late Fall of 1159. It is said that the Silver Phoenix has rose again. Raven ti'Darlach recently purchased an inn near the Old Wyrmme Ruins and is currently trying to rebuild the town into what it once was.

Conclusion: It is still unknown who is behind these attacks and if they are all linked. Authorities have reason to believe they are, but due to the age of most, many have been forgotten. For the victims of the Silver Phoenix, however, there is a small bit of hope that this murderers may soon be found and brought to Justice.
