Make sure you read the following rules before attempting to join as a member of WWEroticDreams RPG. It will be of great benefit to you, your future character and ensures we don't get too many headaches! It might seem harsh and a lot of information to take in, but RPGs are not a joke, and if you don't follow the rules then we won't add you as a member/will remove you for good. For more information on creating a journal please visit InsaneJournal for help.

1: You must choose a character that is not already in play i.e: you need to check the Character Info page to see who is available and who is already a member. Obviously there cannot be more than one Jay Reso or Trish Stratus, that would be ridiculous! Your character MUST be a real wrestler from a real federation, you cannot make up a wrestler. We refuse to accept fictional wrestlers, and we are not an e-fed.

2: You must create a journal on InsaneJournal for your wrestler. Do not include ANY personal information/details about yourself on the journal; you must create the biography, icon, entries for your wrestler only, not yourself! You must VISIBLY state on your InsaneJournal bio that you are NOT associated with the WWE or any wrestlers. There is a disclaimer posted on the disclaimer page, as well as the info page of the WWEroticDreams community journal. We can't add anyone who doesn't make it clear they are only a part of role play. Where you are asked to enter a web site you MUST enter the address of THIS site; as this contains our disclaimer. If this isn't done correctly we will not make you a member.

3: You MUST add WWEroticDreams to your friends list as soon as you create your journal. You must also add everyone who is a member of WED's community to your friends list in order to join in the game. Do not add other players from different RPGs, please only add the players listed on WED's community journal. Updated player lists will be posted frequently in the community journal.

4: Make sure you set up an email account for your wrestler and get an AOL Instant Messenger screen name for them - available at www.aim.com, that is relevant to your character. This is so that other players can contact you and start storylines, and if we need to contact you about anything we have to have an email address at the least. It makes active rpg life very difficult if users do not put up contact info, and excludes you from involvement. It is a requirement that users can contact you, but please do not use your own personal email address or screen name as this reveals your true identity and ruins the whole role-playing game!

5: NEVER post O.O.C (Out Of Character) notes, information, etc on your journal unless the administrators have authorized you to do so. GreatestJournal has a wonderful 'Private Message' option where you can contact a moderator, or any other player in the game. OOC notes are allowed, and welcomed there, so long as they are clearly noted as being OOC. Again, when you join the community you become a wrestler and must not reveal your true identity to other players on WED; this spoils the entire game. Please also avoid posting up irrelevant things such as quiz results, pictures or anything else that falls into that catagory. It slows the loading of pages and does not fit in with the idea of RPGs, if you really feel it must be posted up then use the tag. Hotlinking to pictures without the owner's permission is ILLEGAL and you can easily be traced by website owners. We will warn you once to stop hotlinking illegally if we catch you, if you do not stop then you will not be considered a part of WED.

6: Understand the Superstar/Diva you are making the journal for. Do not chose a wrestler to play just because you "want to", or because you "like them". If you do not feel you can do that character justice, choose someone else who you feel suits you more. You need to read up on them before making a journal and make sure you keep up to date with news and events in their real life. After all, you want people to find your journal convincing, not a blatant lie. Try to be accurate and don't be insulting or use your journal to humiliate a certain character/s. Just use the facts you know about the star and add lib, write what you think the person would be feeling/doing in real life and try to interact with other characters. Try to make sure, within reason, that you know what show your star is on and what matches they are fighting. Most federation sites will have schedules of shows to be performed, along with their location and list of matches. Following the house show schedules are not a must, unless your company is working an overseas program that carries until the weekend. Should that be the case, you will be expected to follow that schedule. WED will try to keep everyone informed of when the companies are having such tours and will provide each player with as much information possible.

7: Please type maturely. TyPiN lYk DIs CaN gEt REaLlY annOyiNG. Also be sure to use proper spelling, punctuation and grammar. Read over your entry before posting and make sure that it makes sense. There are preview and spell check options for a reason. It just makes it easier on everyone else trying to read. It's basic stuff and not too much to ask.

8: While it is not completely necessary to go through with a person and plan out an entire storyline before playing, if you plan on acting out something big or dramatic in nature, you should clear it with with any character(s) that that story will involve. Do not just assume it's okay and someone will go with whatever you decide to do. Stories conflict and things tend to get ugly after that. If they do not wish to cooperate with your story, seek out someone else, or do it on your own. Do not complain to us that you have "no storyline", and use that as an excuse for not updating your journal. That's unacceptable. There are several things to update your journal with than a love interest you may or may not have. These wrestlers work all the time and have lots of side projects and interests. Work that into an update if you need to. If however you are going to give your character some type of drama, keep it realistic.

IE: Do not give your character some type of terminal illness that you know he or she does not have. Believe it or not, I've seen it done. Let's not have that here.

As far as pregnancies go, 1) NO men are to be pregnant in any way shape or form. It is not physically possible, and this is not an AU community. 2) Where the females are considered, if you are on an active roster and are on television week in and out, it's not realistic for you to be pregant, and go out and wrestle. If your character is going to be out for a period of 7-9 months, then go for it if that's what you wish. Otherwise it is a no no and will not be tolerated.

There are to be no suicide or character deaths. It's an ugly situation and is sometimes a very sensitive subject to deal with for some people. Take it elsewhere.

9: Please understand that if you are picking up a character that is up for adoption, you are picking up that character's history in the game as well, and will be expected to honor that history. You may alter the character's personality in ways that you see fit, but contact a mod first to inquire about that character's past before deciding whether or not that is something you are willing to deal with. Also contact other characters that yours was previously involved with and inquire about keeping or continuing previous storylines. It's only fair. If you are going to give up your character and do not wish to keep the journal, PM the moderators with the information needed to turn over control of said journal.

10: Be friendly and interact with other members - don't exclude people! Everyone should make an effort to speak to each other, no matter what. Don't be pretentious or snappy. Don't expect everyone to just flock to you. Go out and approach others first. Things can go the other way too; try not to harass anyone, just keep it cool. Starting storylines is important, so make use of email and AIM to contact other members. Do NOT copy material from other journals/RPGs or add members from other groups to your friends list that do not belong in our community!

11: If you need to speak to somebody O.O.C (Out Of Character) do not post it on your/their journals. Instead email them. use AIM, or the private messaging option and put anything you need to say O.O.C inside brackets like this:

[I wanted to ask if our characters can say they met up on Thursday? Is it ok?]

12: If you do not update you journal within 4 WEEKS it will be removed from the community and your character will be made available for adoption. This means your character will be made available for somebody else to start a journal for. If you are unable to update due to circumstances beyond your control and wish to remain a part of the game, please contact us, before the 4 weeks is up, and inform us so that we do not consider your character dead. A one-lined post does not count. Song lyrics, quiz results, pictures, or locked posts do not count. Please keep such posts to a minimum out of respect for the other players. It becomes extremely annoying after a while when post after post is a simple one line. Also, if you know that your post is going to be lengthy (use your judgement), be kind and use a cut tag.

Also out of respect, some of our members are from other countries (Australia, UK), and do not get to see regular WWE programing until the weekend. If you are posting a RAW or SmackDown! spoiler of any kind, be kind and put it behind a cut tag.

If you have any problems or questions, please contact the administrators. We don't bite. We are here to sort out your queries!

Now that you've read the rules, head over to the Character Info page to see if the superstar/diva you desire to play is available before joining the community.
