Description:

The Adram is a bizarre humanoid creature with the body of a man, the head of a horse, clawed hands and feet, and a fan of peacock-like feathers on its back. Covered in sleek, black skin, the Adram believes itself to be the epitome of beauty, constantly strutting about with arrogance. It demands adoration from all it meets, and will react violently if mocked or insulted.

Though it is mostly harmless, the Adram's vanity and short temper make it a dangerous companion, as it easily becomes enraged when it feels slighted. In such cases, it may screech loudly, beat its chest, throw rocks, or attack with its claws.

Combat:

In combat, the Adram is surprisingly strong, using its claws to swipe at enemies and kicking with powerful legs. It can leap great distances due to its muscular frame, making it difficult to pin down in a fight. Though not particularly strategic, its brute force and agility make it a formidable foe when angered.

Habitat/Society:

Adrams can be found wandering the jungles and forests of the Yin-Sloth Jungles or the Land of the South Winds, where they often accost travelers for attention and admiration. They are solitary creatures but will sometimes adopt a group of travelers, acting like an overly demanding child, constantly seeking approval and adoration.

Adrams are known for their laziness and gluttony, consuming large amounts of food and alcohol, often without permission. Despite their foul temperament and unreliability, they can sometimes be tolerated for the comic relief they provide — as long as one doesn't offend their vanity.

Ecology:

Adrams are solitary by nature and are not part of any larger ecosystem, being more of an oddity than a necessary part of the environment. Their peacock-like feathers, however, are often collected and sold as decorations. While they do not hunt for sport or food (they primarily forage), they do help keep insect populations in check in their territories.

Although Adrams are incredibly vain and self-centered, their presence can sometimes ward off more dangerous predators, though their erratic behavior can just as easily attract unwanted attention from hostile creatures.
