Official Natsume Tips

Clear the Land    Use the Hammer to break big rocks and the Ax to break stumps.  Throw the small rocks     into the Ponds, and pick up and throw the weeds anywhere.

Cultivate and Plant Seeds     Use the Hoe to dig up areas for the Seeds to grow.  When Seeds are used, they cover a     three by three area.  Think ahead about your planting strategy.

Water crops and feed your livestock everyday     If crops are not watered everyday, they will not grow.  Crops do not need to be watered     on days it is raining or snowing.  Livestock, like crops, need to be taken care of everyday     or they will not produce.  Be sure to brush and talk to your Cows everyday

 

Harvest Crops, collect Milk and Eggs for money     When crops are ready, or when you have milk and eggs, put them in the Loading Area     before 5 pm everyday.  Items put in the Loading Area after 5 pm will be lost.

Take time for yourself     The game rates the farmer's Happiness as well as how much the farm produces.  Play with     your pet, go fishing or socialize with your neighbors.  Raising Livestock, rather than buying     them from the store, can also raise Happiness.

tHe Ezy GB Powerberry Guide

Just follow these simple steps to get your paws on the 10 powerberries:

1) Give the Harvest Sprite 3 mushrooms and talk to him the next day.
2) Plow behind your horse.
3) Plow at the southeast corner of your farmland.
4) Plow at the northeast corner of your farm.
5) Plow at the southwest corner of your farm.
6) Plow the whole new extra land the second year.
7) Repeat step 6
8) Use the pickaxe in the left room of the caverns.
9) In pickax area of the caverns pick the wall between the two lights 6
times without moving...you will then move on to a second pickax area!
Use your pickax to find power berry number nine!
10) Repeat step 9.

Secret Tips:

In your house, simply go to your bed and look in the nightstand, inside 1500 gold will be waiting for you. It's your grandfather's money, just don't let his ghost catch you!

In the caves, use your axe in front of the pond in the upper room to receive a gift from the Harvest Goddess.

Still in the caves, pick mushrooms and give them to the Harvest Sprites EVERY DAY. The more they like you, the more they talk. After a while, they will ask about your tools. Always say you like them, and they will give you the super tools.

Again in the caves: Use the fishing rod from the small dock in the upper room to catch fish.

In the caves: The right-handed room contains the healing springs that will revive you.

In the caves: When you have earned the pickax from your Grandfather, you can use it in the left room of the caves to break the walls down and get to a secret area. I have yet to accomplish this, so I don't know exactly what lies beyond the walls…

Tips from the GURUs...

This from Cory Linton (Thanks Cory):

We have downloaded Harvest Moon GB version, and we found something like
a code which may be of interest to you.

You need a watering can (not a sprinkler) and at least one chicken. If
an egg is in the right spot after being laid, you can sell infinate eggs
at 70 bucks apiece. If the egg is in the bottom, left corner of the
screen (right above the colection bin, on the left) spray the egg with
the water can. A little glitchy picture will cover the egg. Now just
pick it up and put it away to sell - and it will still be there until
you leave the chicken coop. This trick can be done more than once,
giving you LOTS and LOTS of money.
