Farming Tips:
 *Never forget to water you're crops, water them everyday, lack of water hampers a plant's growth. The only exceptions are grass crops and days when it is raining so the crops get their water anyway. 
 *Plant turnips in the first season to collect a quick profit. 
 *The peddler usually pays more for goods than the shipping box does. 
 *Fish often. A fish can fetch 300G from the peddler on Sunday. They also serve as gifts but aren't as valuable to girls are as other gifts. 
 *Plant many crops of grass before you buy animals. 
 *Buy animals in the off-season (Fall and winter), sell in Spring so you can spend more time tending to you're crops. 
 *Plants seeds and conduct clearing activities during the night, so you can spend the day harvesting. (If you farmer gets too exhausted, do light work or go to bed) 
 *Remember to milk the cows, collect eggs and feed your animals everyday. (If you have them) 

 Romance Tips 
 *Prized gifts among girls are: wild grapes, tropical fruit, mushrooms and flower 
s.  *Depending on the girl's individual tastes, buy her perfume and/or dance with her at public  events/festivals. 
 *Talk to the girl you like a lot. Once a week is normally ok. 
 *Read her diary to see the amount of hearts she has for you, the more, the better. 
 *The Fortune Teller is rich wih infomation about romance. Visit him and note what he says. 

Plant your crops in a U formation 

I got married the first summer, 4th day. This is how. eg. Maria Go to her sweeping outside the church. She asks if you believe in God. Answer yes. Go back into the church. Come out. Talk to her again, saying yes, everytime to her question. Do this over and over again the same day. Hearts increase much faster and she is ready to marry much quicker!!!! 

You know the start where you have to talk to people before you can go back to the ranch, this is REALLY annoying, 'cause every time I start a new file I have to do it again, I've compiled a guide to do this, so you guys don't have to spend hours figuring it out yourselves: Enter the town. Go to the flower shop. (the building at the very top right hand corner.) Go into it and talk to the pink haired girl from the front of the counter.Then go behind the counter and talk to her 3 times. Go outside and talk to the priest in front of the church 2 times. Then talk to the little boy in front of the church 2 times. Go in the church and talk to the girl in there 2 times. Leave the church and go next door to the mansion.Go inside and talk to the woman in there 2 times. Leave the mansion and talk to the man in front of it 2 times.Then go to the square in the middle of town.Talk to the man there 2 times. Go down and talk to the blond in front of the bar 2 times. Go next door and into the building. Talk to the woman there from the front of the counter 1 time then from behind the counter 2 times.Talk to the drunk man in the building 2 times. Go into the door in the back and talk to the bird and listen to it chirp. Leave the building and go next door and talk to the red-head in front of the building 2 times. Go into the building and talk to the man from in front of the counter 1 time and from behind the counter 2 times. Leave the building and go next door to the livestock store.Talk to the man 1 time from in front of the counter then 2 times from behind the counter.When the man puts the grass seed on the counter, go in front of the counter and press the A button to take it. Leave the building and walk up the road and go inside the log cabin there.Talk to the old woman 2 times then talk to the little girl twice. Want a horse? This is how you get it: On the 1st day of winter go to the road that leads into town or to the mountain, a horse should be there, get it! Once it grows up, you can ride it and make it haul crops for you!

Basically Cheats:
Powerberry Locations:
1) If you plow the all the ground in your ranch enough, you'll get a powerberry. 2)
2) Repeat step 1 to get another powerberry.
3) If you do well in the Egg Hunt festival, you'll receive another powerberry! 4) Chop 87 trees
5) Attack the chicken statue with a hammer
6) When the earthquake in winter occurs, chop the stump near the pond, and fall into the hole that appears.
8) After you've caught a fish, chuck it back into the pond.
9) Sell a chicken in the Fall, and give it to the wanderer
10) At the harvest festival, bring a fish or moonberry as your food
11) Use the seed of the snow flower at the summit in winter, in front of the rock
