It was an odd thing to see at first, and definitely new, he was sure he had never seen it before, anyway. No, this was something he was sure he would remember, but then, having investigated so many odd things over the last few years, he supposed he may have overlooked them at first. They weren’t that difficult to see, so long as they were in the open, and it wasn’t dark, and you were looking directly at them, anyway. Yes, he decided he simply didn’t see them at first. He had had so many things on his mind for that last few years, though. He can’t be expected to notice every little oddity, but he did try, that’s why he was here, of course, to note the odd things in this part of the world. No one really knew why all these odd things were always happening in this area, but happening they were. The first odd thing started happening around 3 years ago, which is how he came to be here in the first place. Noting this new development, he decided to call it a day. Finding an odd thing, though it was important, was not what you would call rare, but he felt he had done enough work for the day. It would be dark soon, and he wasn’t going to be able to do much more anyway.
