9/21/02: EGM November - Quarterman's Game Gossip: This time around the Q reveals the fact that Mother 3 will be coming - but not on the Gamecube as predicted, but the Game Boy Advance. APE, the company who did the graphics for SNES EarthBound and Famicom Mother has left the series, and has been replaced by Brownie Brown. Brownie Brown has been credited for work on Magical Vaction (RPG - GBA), which is graphically impressive. So, why the platform switch? Probably so they could work in 2d. It's obvious Nintendo is nervous working in 3d with RPGs, that's why you see so few.. The company was founded by four members of Squaresoft responsable for Secret Of Mana, a 2 player RPG on the SNES that was very inventive and creative.. so we can't go wrong..

8/28/02: Games Are Fun - Mother 3: At a Super Smash Brothers Music concert, Benimaru Itoh, with no relation to Itoi, says that Mother 3 is coming soon. Itoh is the character designer on the Mother 3 project, so he would know.

7/26/02: EGM October - Quarterman's Game Gossip: This is the beginning, Quarterman cracks the news that Mother 3 is actually coming in an unkown form.

7/03/02: Famitsu Weekly: Mr. Rumor cracks rumor that a revival of a series with 6 letters is happening.

Miss Rumor:
I've heard that one game company is going to revive a great RPG of the past for Advance. And it's not your usual ordinary game. The one-and-only unique game that everybody has long waited for. And this is the part where it gets interesting. They're first gonna release the revived games, but after that, there're gonna release a completely new sequel for Advance!

Mr. Truth:
Hmm, a one-and-only unique RPG... you mean "******"?
No kidding!? I can still believe the part about reviving for Advance, but it's hard to believe the part about a new sequel on Advance... Well, but if it's true, I would like to believe the happy news!

There's the Japanese translation.. by Makkun. How many RPGs have 6 letters? Not many.
