For those who don't know what this section is all about, I'll explain. This section contains downloads for the vastly popular and quite powerful program RPG Maker 2000. All the files you will need to run it are located here, in addition to the game I personally am in the process of making.
To run any game made in RPG Maker 2000, you need to download and install the "RPG Maker Run Time Package" (that is the RTP1.exe self-extracting install file, approximately 11.7 megs)
If you desire to create your own games, you will want to download the main program (either version will do, but I use the earlier one since the "newer" one only adds tilesets and chipsets that I didn't care much for) and the newer RTP13e.exe file, which adds a large archive of tilesets to begin your work. If you have difficulty reading the fonts used in RPG Maker 2000, a small font patch is available to change the default font to a more readable one.
