Original question: Response: An old friend to be dealt with, I see. And let me tell you, Wrath and Anger are related, but are as well different as night and day. Look back into your own past, all the times you've been wronged. All the times that anyone has dared to put a dent in your pride. You felt that fire in your belly, am I not right? You felt a spark inside amplified off your pain. The gripping feeling of immense displeasure as you've been oppressed on any level. That is the old emotion we all know of as anger. Anger can not be simply defined by anyone or anything for that matter. Yet we all know it, as we all feel it. From the top of the ladder to the lowest of society, in the animal world and we even give this emotional concept to inanimate things, even the weather. Example: "The wind blew angrily at the door, thrashing." It is affiliated with everything in this world. A common factor, simply because it is one part of what we are all hard wired for, wrath. Anger is a part of what makes the concept of Wrath. This is where they are related. Anger is the catalyst, to lead towards the further effects of Wrath. For most individuals, pain and sorrow are often the starting point of Wrath. Our pride is hurt, or we just begin to feel resentment to another, and something begins to build. The seed has been planted in the pain, for when we've been wronged. It is the beginnings of Anger, and another step towards Wrath. We can all take anger in different ways. Some will disregard it and shove it aside, and this is where Anger differs to what wrath is. As you have a choice at this point. Anger is the turning point. Good can come in and sweep you away with reason or even forgiveness. Wrath is the evil influence of Anger. Like I said, Anger is the catalyst, towards the next step along the path of Wrath, yet that can be turned. The Apostle of Wrath needs to understand this, that this is the crucial turning point in the cycle of Wrath where you can either gain or lose the soul. You need to possess the individual right then and there. Grapple them to the ground and make them reach a boiling point by amplifying the feelings of pain and resentment, basically spurring them towards hatred and malice. To fuel them here. Build up the anger and deter it from the light. Anger is the fuel that is needed to reach being wrathful. You can't be wrathful if you're happy or forgiving. It can't be done. Anger is the driving force. That shove towards action, being wrath. Anger is like the hurdle that one must face, and jump to reach the next level, be it rage, fury, hate, etc. Wrath in it's simplest form I believe runs on four concepts. Pain. Anger. Hatred. Malice. You must understand these and know that being wrathful is more than just enjoying the suffering that you inflict, it is that and it encompasses also the level by which this is done. It is not weak to be turned to blind aggression of even going overboard upon the deliverance of Wrath on the victim to gain your retribution, as this is only another form of Wrath. Wrath comes in many forms. From divine and malicious, as the Apostle of Wrath must possess to the simplest form of getting even with someone who's pissed you off through the smallest forms of revenge. That is wrath, high and low end. I see the Apostle of Wrath as one of the highest forms of being Wrathful, for you understand all that encompasses wrath and being wrathful. Lower ends, are wrathful because they still gain the satisfaction of getting even to their hurt pride. They may not know that they are being wrathful, but they are. Even if violent. Even if in the end you are taken down. Wrath makes the individual stronger, and feeds them more and more, but it can also break them apart if they do not know how to harness it and rule it. Hatred Incarnate I understand this and use my hatred, rage and malice to aid in how I understand and enact Wrath. Wrath victims both induce conflict and respond to it. They are out for vengeance. They will not sit on the sides and cry, no. They will start a feud if their pride is hurt or any form of them is hurt. Wrath is Malice; it is all out encompassed pain, sorrow, anger, rage, fury, hatred, malice, sadism, divine indignation and justice no matter on which side or scale. The light has taken this into accord as well. All these terms can be taken as the opposite to them, but it is still the sin of wrath. The need to get even with your enemies. No matter the method. It can be violent, subtle, damaging, destructive, used through blind aggression, but whatever it is, it has hatred and malice entwined up it. That's what I understand. As Malice and Hatred work together to one common end, WRATH. That is what the thorned vines on my symbol stand for, Malice and Hatred. Wrath is in any form to those that have surpassed the stage of Anger. Anger is the fuel. Wrath is the final passing of retribution. It is more than those that are comfortable with using it for their own pleasure. No. Wrath can be either conscious or unconscious. Those that can use their anger and move to the next level of wrath and enjoy the feeling of it that is conscious wrath. They can do it subtly or forcefully. Subtly but causing fear and pain for others mentally. Making them stress over things for example. Forcefully, that goes without saying, through violent or torturing methods if most. It's all suffering. Unconscious wrath is mostly mortals. As they don't know that by being angry and hurting another it's a sin sometimes, and it can land them in hell. By kicking someone while they're down, fighting, wars, to subtle things through hate like racist remarks, sexism, and all the feelings of resentment. It is all being wrathful. They aren't aware it's wrath, they only think it's anger or that it's truth. That is the aim of the Apostle of Wrath, to deceive those that you promise you will be their only friend for when you in fact are betraying them as well. It's sweet irony. Welcome the wrathful souls to hell. If we were all the top line of conscious wrath, imagine all the souls that would be able to come to Hell, yet we'd be too busy cutting throats all the time because we thought it amusing. In conclusion, we can all be angry, and we can all be wrathful. Although wrathful takes a bit more to reach I believe. Anger is a step towards being consumed to move forward and do something to justify and gain your own satisfaction with the suffering of your oppressor or victim. Anger is only a stage within Wrath. Wrath is the path of a series of emotions to lead to the sin of enjoying the suffering of others through hostile methods. Yet at each stage of its path it's still a sin. Wrath is bold; being subtle more over is jobs with Envy, Dread, Doom, Greed and Pride. |
