Name: Judith Kenoyer
Pronunciation: Jood-ith Kehn-oy-er
Age: 25
Ajah: Green
Nationality: Andoran
Talents: Dreamwalking, Warding
Warder: Available

Mental and Physical Description:
Judith is five foot five with brown hair to her shoulders and big blue eyes. Most would describe her as beautiful, though she would casually deny it if they did it to her face. She is slender, but not extremely so, and looks very young, even though she is Aes Sedai.

Judith is very calm and collected. She is very much into the opinion that nothing ever gets solved out of anger, so it takes a lot to make her mad. It is well known, however, that those who have made her mad in the past always regreted it.

Biography:
Judith was born and raised in the poor part of Caemlyn. As a child, her Father would beat her, due to his incessant drinking. Her Mother, fearful of Judiths life, sent her to Tar Valon at the age of twelve, and shortly after killed herself.

Judith was an exceptional student as a Novice. She was always shy, keeping away from crowds, and get-togethers that the other girls had in secret. Instead, she concentrated hard on her studies, and was raised to Accepted within five years.

Being Accepted provided Judith with an amount of difficulty she hadn't been expecting. In her heart, she was a child, but her exterior showed a mature, well spoken seventeen year old. She wore the gold serpent ring well, and many times was complimented for her quick learning. Still, she had a secret that the Tower wasn't happy about when they found out.

Judith had begun learning to use a sword at the age of five. Her neighbor, who was older than she, had a Blademaster for a father. James was ten years old at the time, and Judith fell for him hard. He trained her well, and even when she left for the Tower, she was exceptionally good in her sword skills.

She had been hiding her sword in the bottom of her drawers in the her room. The Amyrlin, a kind hearted woman, made arrangements for Judy to train with the Gaidin every time she had a chance, away from lessons and chores.

She was raised to Aes Sedai at the age of twenty three. Many words were spoken behind her back about her young age, and how incapable she was of being Aes Sedai. She chose the Green Ajah, so she could continue practicing and become a Blademaster, which was her ultimate goal. But, she also had another reason for her ajah choice.

Many letters had passed between herself and James since the day she left for the tower. After nearly eight years in Tower training, Judith found in her heart that she had loved him deeply all along, and told him so in a heartfelt, seven page leter that was smeared with her teardrops.

She was overjoyed when a letter came back to her in James's hand, expressing his mutual feelings for her. He promised to wait in Caemlyn for her, and so she wrote another letter and promised him that when she was raised to Aes Sedai, she would bond him as her Warder.

Still, the journey for a lone woman wouldn't be safe at all, and so Judith chose green in hopes of bonding another to protect her on her journey to find James. She found and bonded a man named Keegan, who was proficient in defense tactics. Shortly after their bonding, they set out for Caemlyn, Judys heart restless and longing. She hadn't heard from James in so very long.

However, things sometimes change from what is meant to be. Judith returned to Caemlyn to find that James had been killed in a robbery accident, and her heart was damaged terribly by the loss. She and Keegan returned to Tar Valon, but her heart was never the same.

Time came to pass again, and Keegan asked Judith to release him from his bond. She had always been kind and understanding about that sort of thing, and knew that his heart was not in being a Warder. So, heavy hearted from the loss, Judith complied with his request.

Shortly after this occurance, Judith met a man who called himself "The Rogue." Judith knew immediately when she met him, that he was not her type. He was dark, rude, and not exactly what one could call handsome. Still, he offered to show her things she had never seen before, and so she set off on an extravagent adventure with him, which led them to the Ocean.

Judy had never before seen the Ocean, but her thoughts were occupied already. She had found over the journey that, despite the fact that she didn't know his name, she had fallen in love with her mystery man escort. The Rogue, who had allowed her to bond him, saving her life after losing Keegan's bond, was a mystery in himself.

And so their love grew, Judith felt complete with him, and on the journey back, he confessed his real name to her. Jovan Daghian. Overjoyed by his open attitude, Judy and he returned to the Tower, much to Jovan's reluctance, and began to build a life together. They wed, and were happy for many months, but something always happens to scramble happiness.

Jovan was out one night and, after letting his guard down for a moment, was murdered mercilessly by a Darkfriend. Judith, torn to pieces at the loss of the second love she had ever felt, stepped back into seclusion and darkness.

Audition Piece:

The wind that blew her hair from around her shoulders was cool, and brought pleasent relief to the warm autumn day. It also stirred the pages of a well worn journal, and nearly knocked over the ink pot with which Judith was using the enter her thoughts onto the pages. When the wind blew, she lifted her head and inhaled deeply, enjoying the scent of the garden around her. This corner garden seldom had people in it, and it was her favorite place to record her thoughts and memories. She had always loved peace, and quiet, and of late, her life seemed to be in desperate need of such things. Frowning, she dipped the quill again and continued to write.

I had the dream again, but it was clearer this time. Jovan is falling in his own blood. Light, but I wish there was something I could do to stop these dreams. Perhaps I should tell someone of them, but I am much too afraid. Judith frowned. Afraid of what? Afraid of a dream? She was acting like a child! Shaking her head, she closed the book and shoved the cork into the inkwell with irritation behind her force. She had been using the journal to release her anger, and her sadness, but there was only so much friendship a leather bound book could provide. She cleaned the quill with a cloth, and put everything neatly back into her carrying tote. Rinsing her hands free of ink with a simple water weave, Judith sighed, and tucked a stray locke of golden brown hair behind her ear.

Since Jovan's death, there had been whispers. Well, there had always been the occasional comment behind her back about what a fool she was. Many times, she supposed she should have chosen another Ajah, but Green was alright. She had become Blademaster shortly after Jovan had died, having concentrated so hard on obtaining her title as a distraction. She didn't wear her sword inside the tower, but occasionally she had been known to teach a class or two to the Warders in Training. They had always found it amusing that an Aes Sedai, let alone a Green would be out there, with absolutely no intention of bonding any of them. Judith smiled at that thought; at least some things could still cheer her.

Standing from the stone bench, she straitened her purple silk dress, and then picked up the tote bag. The great serpent ring glittered on her left hand, on her middle finger. She still wore her wedding ring, but she tried not to focus on it. If she thought of the wedding, she would cry, and Aes Sedai were not meant to shed tears. She had to be strong, because there was a war to fight. A constand war against the shadow. So she had lost her husband. So what? She certainly wasn't the first woman to lost her husband to death, and she definately wouldn't be the last. As she made her way out of the gardens and down the halls to her quarters, she made a firm basis in her mind that she would not surrender to her sadness. Normally, she would have nodded graciously to those who curtsied for her, perhaps even stopped to chat with one or two of them. Today, however, she barely noticed as she passed. When she got to her rooms, she closed the door quietly behind her and put the tote bag back into the dresser drawer. She sat down at the table to work on a drawing she had been doing, and before she had sharpened her pencil, a knock came at her door. Judith sighed, setting her pencil and knife down, and went to answer to whomever had knocked.

Meliawen was a Novice, quite young, and just like her mother. She was headstrong and wilful; even the Amyrlin Seat herself had a difficult time getting her to break. Judith smiled wryly at her appearance at her door, as she had not had the chance to associate with Meliawen much since her arrival at the Tower. Meliawen's mother was Ravana Skyrose, whom Judith had associated with in earlier years. When she had first become Aes Sedai, Ravana had agreed to spy for her in countries which Judy herself could not visit. Then, Ravana had gone and fallen in love with some fool from Murandy, shortly after having a daughter and marrying him. Judith sighed silently to herself; some things were fairly unpredictable.

The Novice curtsied unsteadily, obviously not used to it yet. Judith supposed she had been in the Tower all of a week, but she had already learned how to properly address an Aes Sedai, apparantly. Judith watched with some amusement, wondering if the girl would suddenly tip over in mid-curtsy. The first thing Judy had ever noticed about the girl was how unusually strong she was in the Power. Though she had never before so much as embraced it, Judith could sense that Meliawen would be one of the strongest Aes Sedai the Tower had seen in quite some time.

"Forgive me, Judith Sedai, for intruding, but I was hoping perhaps you might help me with an assignment I have?" Judith smiled and nodded, gesturing the girl inside. After putting a pot of tea on to boil, she returned to the table where Meliawen had placed her note pages and ink pot. Her quill pen was jammed firmly into her gracefully long fingers.

"An assignment about what, if I may ask?" Judith said lightly, taking a seat and handing Meliawen a cup of tea.

"Thank you, Judith Sedai." She said, setting it down carefully in the middle of the table. "And my assignment is to research an ajah. We are allowed to choose any ajah, and any means of researching it. I thought, perhaps, since you know my mother, you might assist me by letting me interview you." Judith couldn't surpress the laugh.

"I do think Ravana would be impressed by your resourcefulness, Meliawen." She said lightly. The Novice looked slightly indignant, and Judith thought she definately had some Aiel in her. Well, her mother IS Aiel born, after all. "I am perfectly willing to answer whatever questions you may have about the Green Ajah." Meliawen nodded, and began scribbling furiously on the page.

"Why is the Green Ajah known as the Battle Ajah?" Judith was a bit thrown that that was the girls first question. Pausing to purse her lips, she tried to think of a good way to phrase her answer.

"We stand ready for the last battle." How could she explain this at all? "Or at least, that was why they used to call us the Battle Ajah. I'm afraid the word has gotten out about one of the Forsaken killing the Dragon Reborn twenty years ago. We were hoping to keep it quiet, but a source leaked somewhere." Judith sighed, taking a deep drink of her hot tea and searing her tongue in the process. She had to fight to ignore that.

"What will the Aes Sedai do now, Judith Sedai?" Meliawen was ever curious. She was always asking questions, but she was very intellegent for someone so young. Judith couldn't even remember the last recording Novice that was only ten years old. "I mean, if there is no Dragon, who will fight the Dark One in the last battle?"

"I honestly can't be sure. I know Sonora Sedai has been working to figure out exactly how the Dragon was killed. She is on her way to the Two Rivers as we speak. Unfortunately, there is only so much she can discover, and nothing she can do to change it. The Dragon Reborn is destined to fight in the Last Battle against the Dark One. Without him, I'm afraid the fate of the world looks rather dim." Meliawen lay down her pen and stared into space. Her tea sat untouched on the table, but the Novice appeared so deep in thought that she didn't notice. Abruptly, she lifted her head and gave Judy a very deep expression.

"If it is destiny, Judith Sedai, why did the Pattern allow the Dragon to die?" The Aes Sedai remained silent. "It seems to me that the Pattern would simply produce another." Judith stared in shock at what appeared to be a mere child in front of her.

"An interesting idea." She said when she came back to her senses. "Nevertheless. It is getting late."

Meliawen leapt from the table, gathering her things. "Thank you for helping me, Judith Sedai, but I think I can write my report on my own." She smiled, so Judy wouldn't be offended. Curtsying with her free hand, she rushed out of the room so fast, Judy couldn't help but wonder what she was up to. Shaking her head, she thought hard on what the girl had said. It could be only the random prattling of a child, but if it was, why did it seem to make more sense the longer she thought about it? Perhaps it might be a good idea to present what Meliawen had said to the Amyrlin, just to be safe. After all, if they had a key to sucess in this war, they may as well use it.
