Okay, This site has obvious change format as well as style.
I'm generally trying to go with simplicity over astetic appeal.
That will change once everything gets cover of course. Now
for the break down.
The nuts and bolts of the game, are up top. The FAQs page
is new, and hopefully usefull for any new people to check
out. Rules is also new, but actually mostly taken from Mig's
Hero's Unlimited site. The Overview is just an intro to the
basics of what this site is for and what the game is about.
Next the Story stuff is below that. All of those are returning
sections from the previous site, though with some changes
and additions.
Second last for the links area is the Character information.
This has changed quite a bit really. At first glance you can
probably see that the gallery is gone now. That doesn't mean
the pics are gone though. All pictures will be located in
the appropriate character profile. Npcs that are connected
to specific PCs are also located in the individual character
profiles. The Last real change that comes to mind is now instead
of the rather stuffy statistic pages that were there before
there is now a 'Interview' style. It is all done as if the
characters were asked several questions in game and are therefore
answered in character. While this has lead to a bit of information
loss (people can be quite squirrelly about answering questions
in a straight-forward and honest way) it really does give
a good impression of what the characters are really like.
The last section of the links area are just stuff of general
interest. Links are mostly webcomics, rifts sites that have
proven useful, and stuff like that. The Palladium links are
obvious and the chatzy link is for our secondary chatroom
when pallchat has decided to go on the fritz.
Story so far and Experince will now be shown to the right
and ONLY the current week's will apply. For the previous weeks
you'll have to go to the archives section.
Lastly for the new stuff I decided to do a what the hell
and put a poll in on the site. This will 'mostly' be ingame
stuff for the hell of it to handle a question that really
does require a vote. The thing is this will have no effect
on the game and should be answered personally, and not 'in
character'. It's just something of interest to put in.
