History

My story starts long ago in Japan. I was known as Sasuke Himura but my birth name is Centaru. I am from an almost extinct race of demons called the Tarantulus. I lost everyone I knew to a murderous mob when I was young. Hiko Seijuro took me into his care, gave me a new name befitting a swordsman and taught me to fight. My swordsmanship is the Hiten Mitsurugi school, which embraces the philosophy of using the sword without prejudice, to protect and preserve life. Before completing my training, however, I left my sensei. Civil war was raging in Japan. I became an assassin for the Ishin Shishi, earning the nickname Karite, translated to Reaper. I slaughtered hundreds in the belief I was helping to bring about a new era of peace...By the time I realized what I was truly doing, it was too late. I had been killing those who wished for peace. I was killed by those of the Ishin Shishi when I tried to leave the organization. They sent an ice elementalist to kill me and make it look as if I never existed.

After dying, I was sent straight to Hell for the deathes I had caused. I chose to make a deal with the devil to return to Earth to work for him. I was sent back to collect souls for Hell of people whose time had come or who failed to make good on their deals with the devil. For all the souls I gathered, I was granted higher levels of devil forms, from a dragon to my ultimate form, Akuma. The truth of these forms have become clear to me now. They were ment to be an escape for the evil inside my heart to come to the surface. I now must keep them locked away to keep control of myself.

I now wander the realms killing those who have earned their place in hell for the things they have done. I am the one that brings them to justice.
