Combination Classes

More than likly the best of all the classes in FFT. These are where you get the best abilities and classes. These are in the same format as the others.

Samurai

Knight Lvl. 3, Monk Lvl. 4, Lancer Lvl. 2

The Samurai is definatly one awesome class for your characters to obtain. There are lots of things that they can do. First off, their skills are awesome. They use a skill called Draw Out. Each of these attacks have a coresponding Katana. You need at least one of these Katanas to the attack which matches up with the name. The attacks themselves are awesome. Some of them damage the enemey, some heal you, and some add status effects, good to you, bad to others. These attacks are very good as a secondary skill. Next, the Samurai can carry very good equipment. They have the ability to wear heavy armor. This makes them very good front line men. The weapons they carry are also very good. Some problems with the Samurai are: the fact that you have to get ALOT of Katanas. This includes the very rare Katanas. Also, it is a very expensive class. Both in money and JP. the JP levels are very high. Plus, you need plenty of money for the Katanas.

I very highly suggest having a Samurai on your team. They are very helpful. Something I did was first was get the Mediator ability Equip Gun for my Samurai, then I got the Blast Gun. This way he could attack further. It was very helpful. Just something to think about.

Ninja

Archer Level 3, Thief Level 4, Geomancer Level 2

Ahh the Ninja. This job class ranks just as high as any of the other combo classes. First off, the Theif comes with some higher than average stats. They tend to have higher move, jump and evade stats, which seem to fit well with the Theif. After the nice stat surprise, comes another. Their "special ability" is being able to hold two swords at once. Their ability, Throw, allows you to hurl weapons, balls, and shurikens, and other such commodities at the enemy. Some problems are that they cant have good armor. Of course this can be offset by the ability Equip Armor. Another downside is that throwing things doesn't do much damage to the enemy. Unless you throw things like the ultra rare Knight Swords. Other than that, a very good class.

Ninjas are a very good class. Best ability, TWO SWORDS. If you want to get a Ninja for only one reason, get a Ninja for Two Swords. Attaking twice is the best thing in the game.

Calculator

Preist Level 4, Wizard Level 4, Time Mage Level 3, Oracle Level 3

Ahh yes, the Calculator. This is your, umm "reward" for pretty much mastering the magic classes. The Calculator confuses a lot of people with its abilities. What a Calculator does is they use all just about all of the spells learned in the prerecs. from above in calculations. The abilities that this class learns have to do with math skills. First you learn abilities that calculate CT, level, Exp, and height. Then you select Prime Number, 5,4, or 3 to calculate by. With these selected it hits every thing with the right stats. So, just for an example, lets say you first selected height. Then you selected prime number. After this you select a magic skill to use. The Calculator then hits every thing on a height with a prime number with the magic skill you selected. It might sound cool, but there are some downsides. First off, the magic doesn't care if its hitting you or your enemy. Second, you need to have and healthy supply of magic skills to proceed down this path. Third, the Calculator has an extreme handicap in speed and health. It could be at least 15 turns untill your calculator gets to go. Finally, it takes a lot of time to build up the math skills needed to actually use this class.

The calculator is really up to you. Its nice having a class that can use things like Sleep, Don't Move(my favorite), Death, and other cool spells on all your enemies if your lucky. I got a calculator and gave him a gun to use. This way he builds up JP faster. Go for it, if you have the time.
