Rules
- First of all the two moderators for this site are Spyke (Shortmike8) and Switch (ZeroChronosX). The two of us will be making the rules and doing the updating so mail us all your spars and please dont argue with things that we say pertaining to the rules.
- Each person may only play as one character.
- Once you have selected a character you cant change it. If you do wish to change your character you must forfeit your current character and start once again at level 1.
- All spars, battles, and tournaments will be done in private chat rooms. They must be sent to either ZeroChronosX or Shortmike8. (if one of us is online try to send it to that one).
- This RPG is for people with AOL only, sorry for those of you who dont have it but that just makes this more difficult.
- Each character has different stats in the areas of HP (hit points), MP (magic points), Strength (physical attack power), Magic Attack (magic attack power).
- Each character will level up after a certain amount of experience points (gained from spars and battles) and when a character levels up his stats will increase as well.
- When a character dies there are a few ways to revive him. One way is by casting a revive spell which can only be in a battle where the dead character has a team-mate. The other method would be using a Phoenix Down. This can be done in battle or out of battle by another character.
Rules for Sparring and Battling
- - The spar will take place in a private chat room.
- - you must have a minimum of 2 people and you may have up to 6 people.
- - all fighters must list their stats at the beginning of each fight (name, type, hp, str., mp, mag.atck)
- - all fighters must access their dice (keyword : dice). these are used for critical hits, status effects, etc...
- - all fighters roll 1d6 to see who goes first.
- - the first person will attack using any physical attack or by using a spell. these are written like so... ::Spyke slashes Switch across the chest:: (try to make ur spars detailed and have fun being your character)
- - for physical attacks subtract the strength of the attack from your opponents hp.
- - use the magic attack stat to determine damage of spells. if a spell is used you must subtract the cost of the spell from your mp as well.
- - every 3 attacks a character gets the opportunity to attempt a critical hit. to do this roll a 5 or a 6 on 1d6. if you get this double the strength of your attack.
- - when your hp reaches 0 you have lost the spar.
- - at the end of a spar both players recieve experience.
- - at the end of a battle only the winner recieves experience and the loser is dead.
- - at the end of a spar all players recieve 10 exp for each person in the spar other than himself( if there are 4 ppl then 30 exp).
- - at the end of a battle the winner gets their opponents level added to 10 exp. In addition you recieve 25 gil.
- - you may have 15 spars in a week. These can be 1-on-1, 2-on-2, 3-on-3, or a 3-way.
- - Guess what! Limit Breaks are here! Once every 10 turns you may roll 1d24 and attempt a Limit Break. If you roll a 20 or higher then you use your Limit Break.
- there are 10 1-on-1normal spars allowed a week which give you 10 exp each, 2 2-on2 spars which give you 20 exp, two 3-way spars which give you 20 exp, and one of the 3-on3 spars for 30 exp each.
Rules for items and weapons
- -each character can only carry one weapon into a battle but may own up to 3.
- -you may buy weapons from the item shop or sell weapons to an item shop for 1/2 price.
- -you may carry all of your items into a battle and may use an item instead of attacking.
- - during your battles and adventures you may come across a magic crystal which will either give you a Light upgrade or a Dark upgrade. This upgrade will increase your stats and improve your special ability.
- - In addition each character will have money. everyone will recieve a weekly paycheck of 25 gil and u will also recieve gil for winning battles, killing bosses, and other various tasks.
Rules for Bosses
- - Well here is were you get to fight some of the toughest bosses and summon monsters around.
- - Whenever you feel like it you may request to fight a boss (found on the boss page).
- - When it comes time for the actual battle you will enter into a chat room either by yourself or with a party of 2 or 3 members depending on the difficulty of the boss. the boss will be controlled by either one of the moderators or another character that the moderators have asked to do the job.
- - For defeating a boss you will recieve a certain amount of exp and 1 or more rare items.
- - as time goes by more and more bosses will become available to fight.
- - Sadly boss battles are battles not spars (hence the name) so if you lose you will die so be careful.
