is Kendrick Steelshaper?

One winter night in the outskirts of Prontera, Kendrick de Gaul was brought into the world. Born to a housewife and to the famous swordsman Marek de Gaul, Kendrick was brought up and trained to follow his father's footsteps. His love for tinkering with tools and weapons however has interfered more than once with his training, and his father was none too happy about it.
One stormy night, when Kendrick was 12, a notorious band of thieves entered their home. His father valiantly fought them, but his claymore broke in the middle of the battle. Horribly outnumbered, Marek de Gaul, the most agile swordsman in the whole of Midgard, succumbed to a fatal stab of a hooded assassin.
Kendrick witnessed his mother raped and murdered by the thieves. His father's killer eyed Kendrick with interest and tried to ravage him. In the middle of the attempt, Kendrick got hold of an ice main gauche he forged just the other night and stabbed the assassin in the face. Half-naked, Kendrick broke through the window of his room and ran into the dark of night, the assassin he left behind cursing and howling in pain.
Kendrick sneaked inside a ship docked in Izlude heading for Alberta. It was in Alberta where Kendrick learned the ways of the merchant. Donning a disguise, he sold his wares all around Midgard in search for information regarding his father's killer. At the same time, in preparation for his eventual vengeance, he trained himself to become both agile and durable enough for battle, remembering his father's downfall.
One day, in Morroc, where he searched for precious stones in the two historical structures situated near the city, he received an invitation to join the Blacksmith guild in Geffen. That very same day, Kendrick arrived in Geffen and was inducted into the guild by a fellow guildsman and the famous blacksmith Christopher. Kendrick de Gaul has become Kendrick Steelshaper.
Kendrick's vow to avenge his father's death has yet to happen. In the meantime, his quest to make durable weapons, weapons that will not break in the midst of fierce battles, is starting to come into reality.
