Advanced movement, pfft. There really isn't that much to it. The only stuff I can
think of that falls under advanced movement at the moment is vehicles. These include, but
are not limited to Airplanes, boats, helicopters, and UFOs. Currently, this version only
has Airplanes, but the expansion pack should define each of these other vehicles, and may
even have the pilots for each of these vehicles as a separate class.
Airplanes can only be flown by a pilot, but if one is in your unit, the entire unit
(And possibly another few units under your command). It can move 18 squares before
crashing because of lack of fuel. Of course, you can alway stop by a re-fuel station,
as defined by the mission parameters and the narrator's discretion
EXAMPLE
You aren't paying your narrator, and have woken him up at all hours of the day
and night to get him over there. You see on the map that there's a fuel station nearby.
You go in to land with 10 turns left before you crash. However, your narrator is feeling
annoyed, and tells you that your fuel tank sprung a leak, and that the re-fuel station is
closed. You crash, and all your characters die.
OR
You are best friends with your narrator, and have been since you were five years old.
Even though he doesn't ask for it, you always buy him dinner after the mission, and give
him twenty bucks, just for the fun of it. Your plane runs out of fuel after being shot
down by enemy stations, and hits the sand, but miraculously, the propeller punctures the sand.
The shooting sand works as a filter, and pure gasoline pumps itself into your tanks, and the
sand clogs all the holes in your plane, and then the sand and oil bond to create the most
powerful shockwave ever, which, when ignited, wipes out all enemy troops in a 20 square
radius.
None of these things are guaranteed to work, and your narrator might just play by
the book, but still, it's a possibility.
Recon planes see troops within a 3 square radius when in the air, and combat planes
do damage to installations as defined in the individual mission. Airplanes may not be available
in the entire mission, depending on what mood the mission creator is in.
