Welcome to the Squirrel Brigade RPG core game book, another fine work by Qa'Pla Guy. This is the core game book for a paper-and-pencil RPG I've been working on it, starring squirrels! This set of HTML files will teach you the basics of gameplay, along with how to create your own missions in the Squirrel Brigade's universe.
To play this wonderful game, you'll need this set of HTML files, several dice, a few dice, and some friends. The universe itself is currently relatively small, with only 3 races and 4 classes (or jobs). Nonetheless, with a small amount of imagination, you too can experience the world with Chuck, Roberto, Turret, and Barry.
The plot behind The Squirrel Brigade is rather convoluted:A corporation known as M.A.N.O.R.C.A. has kidnapped a bunch of squirrels(And similar mammals). They strapped the squirrels down, injected them with drugs, and called it a treatment.   As a result of these heinous experiments, the squirrels developed a self-awareness, and even sentience.
Once M.A.N.O.R.C.A. realized what they had created, they tried to destroy all the squirrels. However, a few of them were able to escape, and have founded several different groups. The group we take command of is known as The Squirrel Brigade, and are devoted to world domination. However, standing in their way is a group of genetically engineered birds known as The Bird Brigade.
The Squirrel Brigade has several units, which are fleshed out in Chapter 7-Units. Unit 1 consists of Chuck, Roberto, Turret, and Barry. This group is pre-created for immediate play, but you can, and are even encouraged to create your own unit. As the units defeat more enemies, they gain experience, and can become stronger. You can create your own missions, or you can wait for new ones to come out at this website. Mission creation is dealt with in chapter 16.
There are 3 races here in this universe:Squirrel, Flying Squirrel, and Chipmunk. There are four classes: Motivator, Fighter, Scout, and Student. There are four members required in each party, no more and no less. Thou shalt not have 5 members, nor 3, unless you immediately proceed to 4. There will also be two class changes, discussed in chapter 3, giving a total of 28 classes and 3 races, or 336 different party combinations. While some of these combinations are better than others, all of them certainly offer their own advantages and disadvantages. Each of the classes and races are described in their respective chapters.
