The Weapons Racks

Before you stands a small rack, different pegs and such hold daggers in rows from top to bottom, side to side. Each blade gleaming in the orange light of the fordge





Acorn Dagger: Called the Acorn dagger for the oddly shaped tips on the hand guard. The dagger is a mix between a duelest dagger and a normal dagger. The blade strengthened but not as wide as a dueling dagger would be along with the bigger hand guard. A weapon of choice to fencers who use their dagger for more then just a blocking device.



Assassin's Dagger: Known as the assassin's dagger this blade is widely used by hired killers and theives. The blade being easily concealed with in robes and such. The blade's finish has been dulled, making it hard for light to catch off of the blade in the darkness of the night.



Bodice Dagger: The bodice dagger is carried by ladies of the court. Hidding it with in their cleavage the dagger would be easily removed and used by most with trained and deadly aim. Their only defense against a drunkard or knight who wishes to have some 'fun' with them. The daggers also have a second use, being a pair of scissors also.



Dirk: The Dirk is a larger dagger. Though not a shortsword just yet it's blade is wider and longer then a normal dagger. This weapon is known to be used by pirates and briands for it's effectiveness in quick and deadly stabs.



Leaf Blade Dagger: Known also as the 'leaf' dagger. The dagger's blade is wide at the bottom and slowly curves into a tapered point, making it affective for stabbing and thrusting.



Magi Dagger: Known as the Magi dagger or dagger of the mage. Mages usually carry this weapon in their robes for quick and easy access. Though it mostly is there for spell compotents then accuall fighting it still has a keen edge along with a strong blade.



Main Gauche: This dagger is the perfect parrying dagger. Used by fencers world wide it's large blade and speical hand guard do their job of a parrying dagger well. Stopping most larger blades with ease. Though one would find that the dagger is oddly dull.



Saxon Longknife: The Saxon long knife is a smaller dagger. The blade is thinner though long, making the blade perfect for fitting between the ribs of an unsuspecting foe.



Seax: The Seax is a large dagger thick and long. It's wide blade made oddly for the edge runs along the straight back of the blade. Though one would find the edge extreamly sharp. The blade was origoinally made for fighting amonst the barbarians in the north.



Stilletto: The stiletto is a small, thin and easily concealed dagger. Carried amonst lady and lord alike, even by hired killers, it's one of the deadliest daggers made. The thin blade allows it to pass between bones eaisly, striking the vital organs of the target quickly before dissapearing out of sight once more. The small wound almost unnoticed by the others around the victim untill the blood as effectively soaked through clothing.
