Short bow
The first bow ever made. The short bow has a effective range of fifty yards. The bow is normally made of yew. This bow is known to be used by the little folk like halfings and such. It makes a fine hunting bow.
Longbow
The long bow, or War bow as some call it, stands around six foot. Normally made of strong yew this bow is favored by military archers around the world. Having great distance and power, peircing most armors with it's deadly arrows.
Crossbow
The Crossbow was made for powerful short range combat. The bolts fired from the cross bow are known to be able to perice most armors with no trouble. Though hard to reload unless one has a 'auto loader' which still takes time to crank the handle, though not as much as it would with just one's bare hands.
