Solaris
A kingdom floating high above Norath. It is one of the reasons that Norath is in total darkness. Once the kingdom ruled by the Solus it has all but dissappeared from the pages of time. It's lands are steeped in magic, which is the reason for its aerial position. It's gates are open to few without wings or another means to get there. If one can not fly or telelport, the only way to reach it is through a rift gate at the center of Norath. Since it's dormancy in the pages of time, it is now been added to the empire Ivilice. The phantom king has claimed it's lands as his own. Though under the laws of Ivilice, it is goverened by the Captain of the Paladins (LashDragmire). Though now mostly it is a sanctuary for mages. It is also a place for warriors to train and hone their skills. Proud paladins are born and raised upon that plateu. Their holy powers are the only source of light in the dark world of Norath.
