Background story: Teio was formerly a space pirate, intent on personal gain. He worked with a partner, his fiancée Aja. However, she was almost killed by a gunshot, and Teio desperately sought out means to keep her alive until she recovered naturally. The only person with sufficient facilities was a crime lord called Calamari. In return for incubating Aja, he demanded that Teio collect a type of stone, belonging only to one race-the Jumi. Unfortunately, taking this stone from the Jumi killed them. Thus, Teio was forced into genocide, just to keep the person he loved alive. Eventually, Calamari betrayed him, and he was arrested. He managed to escape from the holding ship, and with the help of his former captor, he apprehended Calamari’s ship and killed Calamari. After that, he drifted around the universe with no sense of purpose-hitching a ride from one place to another, stealing to stay alive. His train of thievery and petty crime has brought him to Expel, where he currently resides near a moderately prosperous area living off the natives, so to speak…
