Father called him: Ethan Walczak
Real name: Zachary Abernethy
Goes by: Rusé
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Height: 6ft
Hair: Brown
Eyes: Green.
Appearance: He has dark brown curly hair that at the moment falls to about his shoulders having not been able to get it cut in a while, at the moment it has streaks of blood-red running through it. He is well built, and just looking at him one would tell he is rather strong. The build of a fighter, yet he has a mildness about him, that clearly says he is far from a killer. Light hazel moods, which alter in color according to his moods, surroundings, or clothes. He is fair skinned, which often means it shows the dirt from living on the streets. A scar marks his right cheek, it cutting over his right eye, blinding him in it, and then it continues down over his chin, it continues down his throat, and arm. Has another one down the length of his back. All are from a knife. He is usually dressed in what ever he can get, which means his clothes are normally far from presentable. Usually ripped and old, the colors faded so you can barely tell what they started as. Most of his money goes to clothing and feeding his daughter. Even though he is well built, he is underweight. Malnourished due to his upbringing, and then life on the streets. Even so his growth wasn’t really affected, he now stands at about 6ft.
Personality: Most people, who know his past, expect him to be some wild individual, who is not only temperamental but uncontrollable. They are rather surprised when they find a quiet, but intelligent individual. Though not the warmest or friendliest of people, he often seems more withdrawn then cold, or mean. Taking after his mother in most aspects, their barely a hostile bone in his body. He is more of a loner, having learned by now that people tend to think badly of him. He is said to have self-esteem issues, thinking lowly of himself because of this he is not really a people person. He tends to lacks proper people skills and his little to no idea really unsure how exactly to go about talking to strangers. He is somewhat dark personality, and it is often said that if it wasn’t for his daughter would be suicidal. He pessimistic personality, sees bad in just about everything that is good. The only thing he sees complete goodness in is his daughter. He is somewhat depressed but keeps it hidden from most around him, not wanting most to know about this fact. He is very loyal and loving to the few he lets in. But it usually seems close to impossible to get him to open up, seeming to have found out that most people will only end up hurting him or turned on him. he was the kid that was shunned in school when he went for his odd behavior, and no one ever bothered to get to know him. He ended up dropping out in 5th grade, though he kept himself up to date with school the best eh could. When he was in school his grades were always straight A’s… all his time going to studying. He not the type to talk about what bothering him, and he is more likely to ignore something then admit it is a problem. He does take after his father in one aspect though, in the fact when he gets angry he has “violent fits” but he will take it out on a pillow, ‘punching bag’ or other inanimate object. He has learned to control that even more now that his daughter is with him. He is a good fighter, and has gotten into a fair number of fights. But he is never the one to start any of them, and he only does so to protect himself or his family. He is untrusting of female’s intentions since Rhiannon ditched him with there newborn baby. His daughter is pretty much his life; he would do anything for her.
Past: Not much is known about his past, what happened before Chey’s birth is kept strictly to himself. What is known is that he met Rhiannon when he was about 11, she was 10. She was the only person who seemed to show any interest in him at all in the new town. They grew close and when he turned 13 they were dating. Things seemed close to perfect for him, even though he still lived with his father. Then when he was 15 he got her pregnant. She had wanted to abort the baby; he had convinced her not too. Things didn’t go nicely though, and she started to have complications with it. Then 4 months before her due date she went into labor. The baby was born tiny, and very sickly. The doctor said there was little chance that it would survive. Rhian wasn’t in much better shape. He spent most of his time with the two, he loved them both. But at the same time suspicions were starting to rise about his father’s activities. And only after 2 weeks he had to spend less and less time at the hospital. When he returned next he found Rhian gone, the baby left there. They were going to place Chey in a foster care. With no legal adults, and only a 15 year old father they claimed legally they couldn’t release her unless they were sure she would have a safe home. He fought and in the end won custody of his daughter. When she turned 6 months she was finally released, he brought her home but didn’t stay there long. Only 2 months into he found out his father was physically abusing the girl so he took off. After running away he remained with a friend, the only real friend he had for a while. But it only lasted 3 months and he was soon thrown out of there. He then set out to find his real mother (who he hasn’t ‘seen’ since he was only a few months old). But ended up having to return home to speak in some court cases against his father. His father is now in jail (or on his way to being put away), and he was sent to the school since they weren’t sure what to do with him and Chey.
Onlook, another day turned into night
And there's a question what this one will be like
So coming home to face again what he fears
While the words rip from his skin
Time crawls as he dreams of leaving this place
Someday to have his own family
But now the world is cold and only he knows
What it's like to live in this pain
One time he would love to hear his mother apologize
For all the things she's said
One time he would love to see his father's
Anger die within
Tears fall from the eyes of the young girl in her room
Forced to take this abuse
The old man's home again with a fight she will never win
Her mother's on the floor and the blood is on the floor again
One time she would love to see her father drop the bottle
And she wonders if he ever will
One time she would love to see a smile
On her mother's face again
In the eyes of a child where they never lie
You can see hope for tomorrow
And the innocence that never dies
They're brought into this world torn in two
Raised in the hatred created by you
