+Make me mad, make me sad+
*If you told anyone they wouldn't believe you. That one of her family ended up in a place like this. Wasn't this for criminals, and everyone knew that the Mastriani's weren't criminals. They put them away, they were the lawyers that helped them but not the criminals themselves. Well it was said there was a first time for everything, and she was the first non-law abiding member of this family. Or the first one that has yet to get disowned. Though she was sure that wouldn't last long, her parents wanted nothing to do with her already. Why did it seem everyone in her family either couldn't wait to get rid of her, or didn't want her in the first place? She had realized this problem about a year ago, when her parents had so bluntly announced she was moving across the U.S. to live with her sister. They said she been in and out of jail too many times, that it would be good for her. In truth her parents couldn't wait to get rid of her, get her out of their hands. They only waited as long as they did because they had, had trouble finding someone to take her. All four of her grandparents said no, they were too old to deal with another kid. Both her mother's and her father's sisters had said they didn't want a "delinquent' under their roof. Which was why she had been stuck with her big sister. Kayleen had no time for her; freshly out of law school she was always busy with her growing career as a lawyer. Kal had learned to take advantage of this, especially after Alec came to live with them. Which was exactly why she was here. They said she was an accessory to a crime, mainly to 'Attempted Murder'. What the hell did that mean? Sure she had known about it, she had known what was going on, and knew exactly what he was planning on doing. After the call from the hospital telling them Hollis, his younger sister, was in a coma he had came right out and told her he was going to kill that bastard. So true, she knew, and true, despite this she had provided him the ticket to get to NYC, where his father lived. She knew he wasn't lying and despite this she turned her back when he left the hotel to do just that. If that made her an accessory to attempted murder then so be it. She didn't care. The bastard deserved it anyway. She would do it herself had he not done it, and if it hadn't been his right, it was his father after all. And he deserved more then a few bullet holes. Though in truth she wasn't sure how they found out about her involvement, they seem to just assume she was involved. Not that it mattered, that wasn't the only reason she was here. Her sister had been more then ready to get rid of her. Hearing of this place was like a dream to her. A way to get rid of her without having to send her back to their parents and disappoint them. She told Kal the school was a good place, a place that would straighten her out and help her get back on the right road She didn't want to be here, she rather be in jail. At least there she wouldn't have that whole 'fix yourself' gig going on
.
The school didn't look too inviting; that was the first thing she took note of, not that she made this comment, instead she kept it to herself, not letting her dislike show. Both her hands were cuffed behind her back; they said she had made too much of a scene earlier, that she couldn't be trusted without them. She didn't argue, instead she moved on, jogging up the stone steps that lead to the front of the school. For now she was behaving, more for the other teen at her side then anything. She didn't understand why the other was there in the first place. There was no way they could even state that she was involved with the whole attempted murder thing. Seeing as she was in a coma for most of it. Grunting silently as the person pushed her forward, her head turned towards her shoulder to glare at the cop who was leading her. Though to her surprise once they were in the building the restraints were removed. And she was left, to figure out what to do from here.*
+Just make me feel. Alright?+
Name: Kaley Mastriani
Nick Name: Kaley Mastriani
Age: 14
Gender: Female
Appearance: her brown hair is mostly short all around, it just reaching past her ears It is uneven looking as if she personally took the scissors and chopped it off. She left a part long, on the side of her head that reaches her shoulders. only on one side. Fair skinned, and usually looks 'crappy' to say the least. The obvious signs of drug use showing on her. Chocolate brown eyes, which rarely show any form of emotion at all. Built somewhat small, and usually gets mistaken for younger then she is because of it. Has scars that mark her arms, from either burns or blades. She never rarely seen with anything but long sleeves because of it.
Personality: Her parents say she is nothing but a teen going through a rebellious stage, this isn't exactly true seeing as this behavior started much earlier then her teen years, and has been around way too long for a phase. She always been the quiet type, not exactly shy but never going out of her way to talk to anyone. She always been the intelligent type, more likely sit back and figure things out. Usually the brains of the schemes, and also the one that gets them out of trouble all the time. She doesn't speak her mind very often; actually she doesn't speak often at all even to her friends. She is very manipulative, and knows how to get what she wants out of people. She is very tough and very hard to actually break through her shell. Not frightened by much, and physical pain doesn't seem to bother her. She has a 'addictive' personality, and often gets caught on bad behaviors. She seems to blame the world for her problems, and has the view of 'the world is against me'. Very angry, and depressed, though she tried to hide it she often has suicidal thoughts. She takes things way to seriously, and every little mistake she makes, or big horrible event that happens to her or someone she cares for (her friends) she blames it on herself. She is mature for her age, yet often seems very immature (does that make sense).
Reason for coming: t hard even at her young age to pull out the exact reason she is actually here. Drug addiction, dealing, and possession are high in the list but obviously not her only problem. Armed robbery, gang violence, Assault and Battery running away, and attempted murder are also on there. She pretty much tried everything at least once
History: She was born into what seemed like the perfect home. They were rich, her parents got along, were happy, they had a nice home, and already a daughter who was ahead in school. They seemed to have everything including brains. They sent there kids to a small private school, that started at pre-school and went to and including high-school. Her life seemed like the life everyone would want, popular, good grades, the works. No one knew the truth about her home life. The less then perfect truth of it. Her parents were always busy, she rarely saw them, she had gone months with out even a 'hello' from them. All they cared about was her grades, and their work. Her grades making sure she kept the family name. Then things started falling apart when she was in the 4th grade. It was a rainy day when it happened, and her mother once more had forgotten to pick her up. So she begged a ride out of her best friend, even though she knew the mother was on a tight schedule. They were best friends and she was able to give her 2 other friends a ride. She was the first stop. On the way to the 2nd friends' house, the car went out of control, smashing through a guardrail and right into oncoming traffic. The truck that hit them was speeding; everyone was killed instantly. The story made the news, yet her parents didn't seem to realize what was going on. They didn't seem to realize their daughter was spiraling out of control, or the fact that she just lost 3 friends. She was forced to attend funerals alone, hitching a ride with another friend. A week after the funeral that same friend committed suicide. Kal hasn't been the same since then. She blames herself for all their deaths, saying that she could have just walked home, called her mother, or hitched a ride with another friend. She had known the street was dangerous in the rain, knew that her friend's mother would speed, yet she insisted on the ride. Had she not gotten the ride, they wouldn't have been on that road. The guilt led to her starting self mutilation, 'punishing' herself for 'her crimes'. Her life started falling apart, her grades started slipping, she pushed whatever friends she had away, and she stopped caring all together for school. She lost interest in her social life, having grown to be 'trouble' child, cutting class, doing drugs. A year later in 5th grade she ran into Alec, who was about 3 grades ahead of her and about 4 years older. He had a younger sister in her class, who he came to pick up. Something about her caught his attention, and vice-versa. She was quickly accepted into his group/gang and they started dating not long after. And it wasn't long after that, they started sleeping together. When her parents found out when she was in 7th grade they nearly had a heart-attack, as they realized that the family name 'had been being trashed'. They only found out about it when she started getting brought home by the cops. Her parents waited for the two to break up, and did anything to keep them apart. Kal refused to leave him, swearing he was the best thing to happen to her. When they wouldn't separate they sent her to live with her sister who was a lawyer, and lived across the U.S. this didn't last very long, and he soon flew out to join her. Though he only lived there a few months before his sister got put in a coma by their father. He and Kal flew back down to N.Y. where he shot and tried to kill his father. He ended up only in a coma. Kal was charged with assistance, considering she not only got Alec the ticket knowing full well his intent, but she knew what he was planning and didn't stop him.
And you don't seem to understand
A shame you seemed an honest man
And all the fears you hold so dear
Will turn to whisper in your ear
And you know what they say might hurt you
And you know that it means so much
And you don't even feel a thing
I am falling, I am fading
I have lost it all
And you don't seem the lying kind
A shame then I can read your mind
And all the things that I read there
Candle lit smile that we both share
and you know I don't mean to hurt you
But you know that it means so much
And you don't even feel a thing
I am falling, I am fading, I am drowning
Help me to breathe
I am hurting, I have lost it all
I am losing
Help me to breathe
I am falling, I am fading, I am drowning
Help me to breathe
I am hurting, I have lost it all
I am losing
Help me to breathe
I am falling, I am fading, I am drowning
Help me to breathe
I am hurting, I have lost it all
I am losing
Help me to breathe
