Trails
As you leave the land of Sleepy Valley you have a number of choices as to what you wish to do. Each trail is suited to a different level of riding ability, choose carefully!
~Simmerdown Forest~
This is an ideal trail for beginners, be it riders or nervous/young horses as it takes them around the ages of the estate through the pineforest. There are no risks for fallen trees as the trail is checked daily for dangers and if it should become unridable then it would be closed. The route is clearly marked so you wouldn't get lost.
~Wild Moors~
This is a trail suited for the intermideate skilled rider and horse as it takes them onto the moors around the ranch. You may see wild horses, dears and other native English wildlife. so make sure you keep your eyes open as you should expect the unexpected here as naything may happen. There is a route set down but it can be lost during Spring months when the grass grows rapidly you can get maps from the ranch house.
~Mountain Highway~
This is a trail suited to the highly exprience rider and horse. The horse should be highly athlietic and trust worthy. This trail takes up high into the moutains, beware lose rocks which may fall around you or underfoot. You may see deer high up here but otherwise it is very still and eariy. A trail has been laid out but no one checks it so there maybe a number of natural disasters around the land which may make it impassable ie:- rockfalls. It does hold amazing views. You should come on this trail with another as well.
~Sea n Surf~
This trail leads you down onto the beachs where any rider or horse of any level may come for a good time. The sand is golden and there are a number of sand dunes. During summer peroids you are only allowed on the beach before 10am or after 6pm and still watch out for people there. During other times you may access the beach any time.
If anyone thinks of another trail please let me know so that I can add it for you!
