Name: Glorfindel

Species/Sex/Orientation: Elf/Male/Both Sexes

People: Noldor

History: While his birth year is unknown, Glorfindel has been around since at least the early first age, possibly sooner. He lived in Gondolin, and died in I 510(first age), while battling a balrog in the Encircling Mountains. Both were killed, and for many years, Glorfindel resided in the Halls of Mandos, but was soon released and restored to the natural innocence of the elves. He spent time with the Maiar, especially with the one called Olorin. Sometime in the second age, Glorfindel returned to Middle Earth. He participated in the Last Alliance, and lead the army that went against the Witch- King. After all of this, he lived with his friend, Elrond Half-Elven, who was lord of Imladris.

Appearance: Tall, as most elves, with bright green eyes. One of the more unusual elves in that he has bright golden hair, a rarity in the Firstborns.

Attitude: Every inch the regal elf lord, he has a well hidden sense of humor. He gets along with the younger elves, and has a special fondness for Elrond's children. He enjoys their company, taking the time to teach them what he knows, and helping them think up pratical jokes that drives most of the older elves to rip out their hair(or wish they rip out Glorfindel's)

Glorfindel was changed deeply by his time with the Maiar, and sometimes that tends to show.

The ancient elf can handle most weapons(he's had plenty of time to learn) but prefers a sword.
