Physical Description: Around 4' 2", she is average for a dwarf. Her hair is an rich auburn color, and is usually pulled back in a series of small braids gathered into a larger, waist-lenth braid. She has deep green eyes set in her carmel colored skin, and they are surrounded by a variety of laugh lines, as well as the lines from where she squints in doing detailed work.

Weapons: Like any dwarf, she is handy with an axe, and she also deals easily with knives. Her mother, Danil, taught her.

History: Bis is one of the rare female dwarves. While this has made her desirable to many males of her kind, she finds none of them interesting, prefering to work with the gems and metals that give her her name. She has more dealings with the elves than most of her race, as her specialty is to create beautiful jewelry of strange and wonderous design. Some of her people believe she is 'touched' in the head, as she commonly sells her work to the elves that come near her home(Lonely Mountain) When the trouble with Sauron began, she was assigned to the envoy heading for Rivendell, as she was one of the cooler heads, and had some contact with those 'oddling elves' Thus, she came to Rivendell with Gloin, his son Gimli, and the others who traveled with them.

Attitude: She is one of the cooler heads sent to Rivendell(see above) and handles her position with care and dignity. However, she has a wicked sense of humor, one that can result in numerous pranks from a clever dwarven mind
