1. First, you will note in the amulet construction scroll that materials must be gathered, this must be
RP'd out in a club, the sources where you can find such materials for the amulets are in the scroll so it wont be a hard thing to figure out where you should go to find
them, this trip should be at least a one week venture.
2. You will note only the most skilled alchemists are able to construct amulets, at least a level 7 Sith Lord. Translation and healing amulets shall be the exception, IE people with levels 5 to 6 to build one of those two amulets, after three months another few will open up to you, but amulets are only a small part of what you will be doing in alchemy.
3. Again you will note in the scroll of amulet construction that it is stated that it is a lengthy and very very haphazard process where nothing short of perfection is required to complete the amulet safely and properly so it will function, this will hold true when it comes to building them in character, you will have to have your character be totally devoted to nothing, and WE MEAN NOTHING, else but your amulet construction (given the amulet) For a time period anywhere from a week for the minor amulets (IE Translation and Healing) to three IRL weeks for Ensnarement and Shielding amulets. Your character that is building this amulet must be in complete isolation and CANNOT speak to ANYONE for that period of time, if your character speaks to anyone for ANY reason other than to maybe role play out a step in the construction, you are required to speak with that person alone. If those conditions are not kept and met the amulet construction WILL BE VOID and the process will have to be begun again.
4. The last step the final ritual in which the rune of bonding is placed on the amulet and then the Sith Wizard steps in to do the final role, the incantation of the spell of bonding, this must be role played out for three days, two posts a day, for the morning and evening. Try to stick to this as best you can, since we will personally (along with other GM's) be moderating this, if for some reason you cannot do the ritual one day inform one of us and you will be granted leeway until such a time as when you can complete the ritual. When the ritual is over you got your self an amulet.
5. Before your character can build any other amulet, an amulet of translation MUST BE BUILT, so your character can translate the scrolls on constructing the other amulets.
6. Prior to construction of an amulet, clearance to do so must be given by a GM
7. NO ONE UNDER THE RANKS OF SITH LORD, OR JEDI KNIGHT MAY USE OR POSSESS ANY OTHER AMULET THAN THE AMULET OF TRANSLATION, THESE THINGS ARE POWERFUL FOLKS, IF A SITH INITIATE GOT HOLD OF AN AMULET OF ENSNAREMENT, THE DARK SIDE POWER WITHIN IT WOULD OVERWHELM AND KILL YOUR CHARACTER (caps put for emphasis)
8. There will be NO finding amulets at ancient temples, there will be no hand me down amulets (unless of course the amulet being handed down was legally built and role played out by a character in this role play and it is being passed onto someone qualified to receive it) in short, you want an amulet YOU BUILD IT.
9. These rules are to be adhered too, I know it looks like a tough road but when your asking to have that kind of power, it cannot be easy to obtain, but I am confident in your abilities to understand my reasoning for making it a tough process and for putting such tight restrictions on it, face it folks, if amulets were easy to get and ANYONE could have one to use, you could imagine what would be happening, so please do not hold any hard feelings for this, I think you might even find the process enjoyable, like your actually doing it IC wise, remember there is nothing more gratifying then working for something and EARNING it, when the time is done and your character has an amulet ready for use, I promise you, it will be worth it.
