*A shadow had flickered off to Aidan's right, it only slowed enough to speak to Aidan* ~ft~ Wolf-blood. Quick. No time.
*it speeds off slow enough that Aidan could have followed, but it was quick and headed for the direction of the hospital, Aidan in the mean time had a spirit that he had hunted up just on the edge of the Locus area since the azlu there would have not let him hunt anything closer to the locus*
Scene: Wynter's Home, Late Afternoon, Ash's Office in the Garage
*The office was quiet and there is an envelope and a file folder on Ash's overly organized desk, The fetish Wakazashi is still setting on the file cabinet that he has his fetishes sitting on when he isn't doing pack business, the other fetishes are gone as well as the body armor that Justin had given him, his motorcycle is still in the driveway outside, and his coat and hat for when he walks anywhere that isn't the park is still hanging on the coat rack by the door*
Scene: Somewhere far beneath the City
*Ash and Talriska dropped after Paws-of-Silent-Shadow into a deep underground cavern through a shadow portal, there was the faint sounds of chanting nearby, Paws indicates that they must hurry, Ash helps Tal up and looks at her worriedly since she was sick and is still not up to par yet*
Talriska. I'm going to go ahead. I want you to be my back up. *follows Paws, Tal stumbling a little in the semi-darkness, they are heading for a tunnel where some light is filtering around the curve, Ash gives her a hand as they follow as quickly as possible, they crouch down as they come around the curve and see the cavern that holds a lake of glowing water, it glows brighter then any locus ever seen and it's obviously somekind of locus, the lake is surrounded by magath spirits and there are two seen that are like uratha, but not like any uratha ever seen before, the lake looks like it is boiling and the chant rises an octave, the ritual well underway*
*Paws whines a little and looks at Ash* ~ft~ Must stop.
Ash: *frowns at the comment from Paws* Tal, I want you to stay here. If I cannot disrupt the ritual enough, I want you to try to get other ritualist. If you don't think you can, go find my brother and warn him. Tell him everything that happens. Paws will take you the fastest route, but I must protect the city as much as the family.
*with that he slowly makes his way around in the shadows as much as possible towards the one uratha who looks like he is covered in spider webs, as he goes he shifts up to Dalu, his feet making nearly no sound over the chanting below, then he lost to sight as he moves around a rock and lines himself up with the spider web gauru, he finishes his shift up to the "gauru" form, activates his armband fetish, making his bite now inject poison into what he bites, then he activates the gift crushing blow, ready as he can get now, he slowly makes his way up to just behind one of the sentry spirits who is more intent on the ritual then watching the perimeter, he slowly moves and then he quickly rips the spirit into peices, then leaps straight for the spider web covered gauru who is leading the ritual, landing on the thing's back, he finds that not only is it covered in webs, but it has tiny spiders crawling on it, a few of the spiders crawl onto him as he slams his teeth into the back of the gauru's neck and he feels the tiny pin pricks then a burning as poison from the spiders enters him as he poisons the gauru below him with his bite, he reaches around and rips his claws across the gauru's throat and looks up and across at the nesxt target, there are too many spirits between him and her, but they are all along the lake's edge, he leaps from the gauru who has started to twitch from his own poison, his own body starting to numb from the spider bites itself, he grits his teeth as he pulls the gauru after him tipping it into the water as he arches his own body to turn his leap into a dive, clearing half of the distance as he enters the water his whoel body screams as it feels like he has been dipped into acid, everything burns and he swims, his mind on one goal, he reaches the edge just below the other gauru, he sees that it is female and he climbs up the bank some, his arms a legs now feeling like lead and like everything is covered in cotton or like when the circulation has been cut off for a bit, he grabs onto the gauru's foot and pulls, as she falls the ritual is fully disrupted, but he sees the gleem of silver claws as she falls in with him, her clawed hand plunging into his chest as ghe grapples with her for a moment, pulling her down with him, forcing his numbed limbs to respond he grabs her throat in his own clawed hand and rips out her throat, his whole body numb, but burning, he kicks away from her as she sinks away from him, his body shifts to hishu as his head breaks the surface as he loses all control of his limbs and feeling of his body, his eyes glance towards the enterence where he had left Tal and Paws, Tal being forced to leave by Paws, Paws looks back as he starts to sink, Tal watching from behin d the spirit wolf, Paws nods and then pushes at Tal to go back down the tunnel away from the chaos that is ensueing around the lake as the spirits there attack each other and anything in the vacinity of the lake, his last sight is of Paws opening the shadow portal and taking Tal through as his head slips beneath the surface, he holds his breath as he sinks, the burning reaching through his skin and hitting every major nerve, he thinks of his brother and the pack and that the city is safe from what was being summoned by the Su'ur, and he knows that he isn't going to make the surface again, no way since his body no longer responds to his thoughts, he exhales one lst time and then breathes in what feels like liquid fire, his mind screams and the light becomes unbearable and he knows no more besides that he saved his family*
Scene: Denver, CO - Hisil, Near the Locus, Late Evening
*The spiders all of a sudden start hurrying here and there around the Locus, six larger spiders, about the size of german shepards surround Aidan* ~ft~ You leave NOW. No come back until Alpha or Beta come with. *they usher Aidan to the locus and the totem Wolf-that-Stalks-the-Webs forces him back across the gauntlet, they are now on high alert and aggitated as the last he sees before he is on the physical side of the gauntlet*
Scene: The Palace of Red Webs, Jefferson Park in the hisil
*some spiders suddenly hurry into the chamber where Justin has been brought to after something had alerted the spiders into a state of high alert, the tiny silver spider that is always with Justin is surprisingly uninformed for once being cut off from what has happened by the queen azlu magath, the spiders open a portal for Justin to take him to the front of the palace, and a spider meet him there, the size of which is a small horse, though it has a human face* We regret to inform you we have lost contact with the spider who was with your nest sibling. They had followed a spirit into the hisil and had taken the warrior female with them after freeing her from the spirit that was attacking her, the spirit is by the hospital in the hisil still bound, The spirit that alpha and warrior followed took them into shadow portal and then we knew not where they went. Only much danger and brother fought feircely, warrior too sick still to fight, but we feel she was to return with the spirit who take them if alpha succeeded. We give you knowledge of last feelings from spider with nest sibling if you want. We help if you need anything, though we know not where they went. We search for warrior and spirit if they return, for we felt that what sibling and spider do, they succeed enough to stop the danger before they lost contact from the burning. *they await his reaction*
