+1 if DX 12-13

+2 if DX 14+

-1 if DX 8 or less

 

 

STATS

Roll for stats cost 50 points re-roll 1 stat if wanted.

 

Strength doesn’t cost double after character creation.

 

 

Perception

Perception equals IQ up to a maximum of 12

 

 

Familiarity with new towns.

Skill penalty for skills like Streetwise.

 

Time spent in the city                    Penalty

Less than 7 days                            -4

7 to 13 days                                                    -3

14 to 29 days                                 -2

30 to 59 days                                 -1

>60 days                                         0

 

These would apply to the largest cities. For large towns use max penalty of -3 and “for medium” towns -2.

--> Level 25                  = 600

--> Level 40                  = 1100

 


Task Difficulties

This is a small conversion table for use with adventures written for Rolemaster. It converts the difficulty of a task (ie. the relative difficulty of picking a lock) to a skill bonus or penalty in GURPS.

Very Hard / -2

Extremely Hard / -3

Sheer Folly / -5

Absurd / -7

Insane / -9
