IRC Help and General help for new players:

We play in a game that takes place mostly in IRC chatrooms. IRC is short for Internet Relay Chat and its one of the easiest and most widley used chat formats online, able to be used by anyone, pc, mac, webtv....

The server we use for our IRC play is called chatfirst. Their page can be found at www.chatfirst.com to the left you will find links to chatfirst, as well as links that take you directly into their server via your web browser, just click the platform you are using (windows, mac, webtv). Once inside, you need to get to our main room, this is fairly easy. Simply type /join #AnLar

We have other rooms, but it's best to get a hang of IRC before venturing out too far, more IRC help can be found at the chatfirst page....

As for the game rules they are very easy, to the left you will see a list of links, the top section of these links are the rules, broken into sections, the first 3 concern the players, basic rules are how you go about general play, combat rules are the rules for fighting, magic rules are for magic... of course, the fourth rule section is for the room moderators, these are the people that keep the peace in the rooms, a regular player wont really need to know these, but you may decide to read them anyway, as it might help shed some insight on these people, and what they do.
