Mathematics
I personally dislike math. There are a lot of reasons for my dislike. I am fairly competent at math, but I dislike doing it. My high school used a math program which I felt was very badly made. I passed it and went on to college where I am still avoiding math. I Believe math is the language of science so the problems I have found here also apply to science.
I found problems with math. It is just as flawed as any other subject. Unlike philosophy this rant will be fairly short.
I have found one big problem with math. There is a huge flaw at its most basic level. Arithmetic (and by extension subtraction) both exhibit a flaw of identity. I will give some examples to illustrate the problem. I take out two pieces of currency 1+1=2 right? Wrong I end up with 21, one piece of currency was a 1 dollar bill, and the other was a 20. There are several different combinations like this but you make the equation on a test and you fail.
Another example; 1+2=1, yeah you heard me two hydrogen atoms plus one oxygen atom equal one water molecule.
I think every one here can see the problem. Things get tricky when one talks about the situations I named. What could fix this problem? Like all of my other rants I show you the problems, I’ll let you find the answers instead advocating my own.
