Assault rifles have become the bread and butter of infantry, and more rural HTR teams. Most assault rifles featured here are top end, using new and innovative techniques. Though these weapons are too weak for most GPMG roles they do provide mobile SF capabilities and have seen wide spread use. LSW and SAW are a compromise between power and mobility worth looking at.
