Friends again
Raziel Arjun
Arjun:
:walking around campus he had his nose buryed in a book reading over all
the differnt Choirs and still trying to make heads or tails into which one he
should try for. Just finding a bench along his walk he sits down and keeps to
his readings. Placing his other bookbag between his feet:
Raziel:
::just coming back from a visit at his dolphins, he walks through the
gardens and over to the academy to get some more books for learning. He sees
Arjun and stops, thinking about if he should go and talk to him, but remembering
his words he hesitates::
Arjun:
:turning page after page, he doesn't even look up as he reaches into his
bag for a can of juice and opens it with one hand; having placed the bottle
between his legs and taking the cap off. Only then he moves the book and as he
drinks a few mouthfulls, he sees you. Making eye contact, he puts his juice back
down and doesn't say anything; only looks for a moment, and goes back to his
reading:
Raziel:
::he sighs deeply and walks over to you:: Hi ::he sits down next to you,
with a light smile:: How are you?
Arjun:
:not lifting his head from the book for a moment to even look to you, in
a somewhat depressed sound: hi.. I'm fine... how are your mamles doing?
Raziel:
They are fine..... ::looks at you with a excusing smile:: Arjun....I`m
sorry. I almost ruined it all for you. I know there are differences between us,
our kind of thoughts about some things..... But I`m really sorry... ::looks at
you with his deep blue eyes::
Arjun:
:with a light sigh for a moment he closes the book and looks over to you
almost without any expression, and forces a small smile: It's all to be forgiven
Raziel... I'm the one that should be sorry for what was said.. okay? That's why
I wrote that letter a while back for you.
Raziel:
I know ::looks down:: But I sometimes kind of overreact..... I was angry
because you said that the Seven Great are full of sin themselves. But I learned
something the last days that made me believe in your words....... ::shortly
thinking about something he then looks at you very stern:: Can I trust you?
Arjun:
:nodding to your words for the moment he then snickers short for a moment
as a gester of doubling back on your own words: Well I'm an Archangle now... I
guess trust is one thing you have to see in me. But whatever it is.. yeah.. you
can. Speak what's on your mind.. friend. :smiles lightly to you for a moment
warmly:
Raziel:
::he takes a short look around:: Not here. It is very important that you
don`t tell anybody what I will tell you. Let`s search for a silent place to
talk. ::he stands up, looking at you, waiting if you will follow or not::
Arjun:
:looking around as well for a moment, he gathers up his things and stands
up to follow: Where do you think we should go? I mean the only place I know of
right now would be back at my dorm room if you think it would be wise there.
Raziel:
::nods:: Yes, that`s a good idea. At least I haven`t heard yet that they
have spies at the academy. Good, let`s go there.
Arjun:
:snickering for a moment as they turn the other way to head to his room:
No I don't think the Thrones have 'buged' the rooms .. yet.
Raziel:
::smiles:: Believe me, it`s not only the Thrones who do that. ::after
entering Arjun`s room, he closes the door and sits down on the bed:: Okay......it
seems to be good here. ::looks around:: Do you like it here?
Arjun:
:setting his things down on his desk he pulls the chair out and sits as
well, looking over to you: Do I like it here..? It's a hell of a lot better then
Hell if you don't mind me saying so.. even though everyone wants to know what
Choir I want to pick now that I'm an Archangel
Raziel:
Well, I`ve never been at the academy. I think it could be pretty funny...
::smiles at you, but then he stands up and walks over to you:: Okay, what I`ll
tell you now, might be a bit... well... strange. But I need your help to get
some information.
Arjun:
:looking to you as you stand now closer to him, he has a quesionable rase
of his eyebrow: And this information is pertaining to... What?
Raziel:
::he knees down next to your chair so he`s close to you, what allows him
t speak not too loud:: I found out that Zaphikel-Sama has a child. Don`t ask me,
I don`t know the whole story. I also don`t know the mother`s name. But he said
this child may still be alive.... ::looks up at you:: And I want to find it.
Arjun:
:sitting back in surprise for a moment: ... Zaphikel-Sama has a possible
child? You want me... the one that can still get branded faster then anyone here
in Atziluth to ask one of the Seven about a possible kid?
Raziel:
::putting a finger on his lips:: Shhht! No, I only want you to help me
find out more about that child. I heard you met Raphael. Listen, I only need a
few minutes in Raphael`s bureau to take a look at the files. There`s every
single child listed. But I need somebody to divert Raphael.....
Arjun:
:with a bigger shock to his face this time in hearing this:... um...
er... hm... :looks away from you for a moment and mumbles something under his
breath for a minute then looks back to you: What do I get out of this 'if' I say
yes to helping you?
Raziel:
::he stands up and walks over to the window:: Well, I have nothing I
could offer to you.... ::turns to you:: I can only ask you for that as a favor...
Arjun:
:looking to you as you walk to the window and hears your words, he stands
up slowly and faces you with his arms lightly crossed over his chest a moment
pondering over what he should say or how to say it: .. Fine... you owe me one
then Raziel... and I know my mind isn't the best in remembering my past or that..
but I won't forget this, you can count on it.
Raziel:
::looks at you and suddenly hugs you:: Thank you, Arjun, really, thank
you a lot... ::steps back:: And maybe I can help you a bit, too. It can`t be
impossible to find out some things about your past. There must be files about
you as well.
Arjun:
:almost not wanting to respond to your hug, he lightly puts his arms
around you and then lets you go. Looking to you for a moment he half turns away:
Somethings can be better left unknown but if you want to do such a thing as that
of getting some files on me as well... so be it. But you wouldn't have to. :he
sits down back at his desk and opens the book he had earlyer:... you know your
way out.
Raziel:
::looks at you with a kind of shy expression on his face now: Arjun......
are you still angry at me?
Arjun:
:sighing lightly: No... I accept what you said to me as long as you do
the same... there's no taking back what I wrote on that letter... I have other
things more important to be bothered with. But don't worry about distracting the
doc.. if you want to set it up farther, you can find me in the garden most of
the days outside of class.. we'll talk then.
Raziel:
::shakes his head:: What do you want me to do or say now? I read the
letter, but I decided to better ignore some of the stuff you wrote. See, I can
understand that you have your problems. But I also have mine.... I want to be
your friend, Arjun. I really want it. I know how it is to be different to others.
And I know how it is to be alone. We both had a lot of shit in our past and if
there`s something I can do for you, just tell me. ::lays his hand on your
shoulder:: Are we friends?
Arjun:
:with a light sigh, he lowers his head slightly, but then placed his hand
ontop of your's softly. A moment later looks up to you from over that shoulder,
with a light smile: Yeah... we're friends Raziel... sorry, I've just been wound
up the past few weeks... I want to have a break somehow but still trying to get
to know everything around here is hard.
Raziel:
::he now smiles at you with his usual happy smiles:: I understand. But I
want you to know that you don`t need my "frogiveness" as you called it
in the letter. I`m a nobody and I`m not important. You even have a higher rank
than me. ::he grabs a second chair and sits down next to you:: And
about your past.... if you ever want to talk about it...well, I`m there. I want
you to know that..... ::he grabs your hand and holds it, looking into your eyes::
Okay?
Arjun:
:with a light shake of his head from side to side a moment but a smerk on
his lips: Raziel... even though I may now be a higher rank then you... you still
have a mind of your own.. your own feelings, thoughts, and ideas. The titles are
just that... words. Out there :points to the door a moment with his free hand:
That's where it counts.. in privaet.. during lunch or even just relaxing in the
garden at the end of the day. Allow yourself to be free like your beloved
creatures are that you have as pets. You are only a nobody if you think that of
yourself, and you're not.
Raziel:
::he lowers his head:: Maybe you`re right... but for me, I lost more then
the half of the being I was when I... ::shakes his head:: Forget about it.....
you`re right.. ::smiles at him:: Then maybe we could do some things together, Mr
Archangel. The stuff.. friends do...
Arjun:
:with a wondering look as you began to tell him something but then waves
it off, he snickers lightly for a moment: sure... I don't know what's possible
around here to be done though.. the most I've seen is the campus, and parts of
the garden... I haven't even been back to your tank to say hi to your babies
since the one day. Got any ideas? I'm pretty much free right now.
Raziel:
Hmm... there`s not much you can do here in Atziluth.... ::leans back on
his chair:: It`s pretty boring here.. but we could go to Assiah. I think there
you can do a lot, even though for the most funny things we both look a bit too
young ::smirks::
Arjun:
:looking to you for a moment without an expression to show that he was
thinking of something for a moment, he smiles to you then: Well... I don't know
about Assiah too much but if you want to go sure... can you get us though the
gates though?
Raziel:
::seeing you think about something but he doesn`t know if he should ask
you about it:: Well, I think so. I go very often to Assiah and they always let
me pass...... um...Arjun. what are you thinking about?
Arjun:
:standing up from his chair a moment he half turns back to look at you:
You wouldn't and I won't push the matter, we're friends again so lets leave it
at that.
Raziel:
::stands up as well and grabs your arm:: Sure we are friends, but if
there`s something you want to tell me, just do it. I have this special talent to
read other`s minds and I have no full control over it. So if you don`t tell me
now, I`ll maybe find out later, if I want it or not. Your decision... ::lets
your arm go::
Arjun:
:with a light shock of hearing this, and knowing fully well about such
things being that way, from the times with a few who shall remain unnamed, he
nods to you lightly: Alright... but just remember, as I believe I stated the
first time just before my hearing.. being in Hell all that time, I still slip in
what I say or maybe even do... alright, so don't take it the wrong way.
Raziel:
::nods:: Okay.... ::he sits down again:: Just try me ::smiles::
Arjun:
:this time the snicker was a bit harsh and sarcastic sounding. Turning to
look at you right eye to eye as he stood there only a few feet away: Alright...
even before I stated such a thing about the Great Seven that day... I was trying
to get you on closer terms and was hoping that maybe you would wish to find out
for yourself just how something like that might be... if you've never done it
before. Truth be told and that's truth
Raziel:
::a bit confused:: I don`t understand... what are you talking about?
Arjun:
Raziel... I wanted to
get you in bed with me.. that's what I'm talking about
Raziel:
Oh... ::he turns completely red and lowers his head:: That`s it... ::he
smiles nervously:: Arjun...... what shall I say.......
Arjun:
:with a calm look to you, he lightly shakes his head for a moment: Say
nothing.. I've put it behind now. Allow the friendship to rebuild and maybe...
just maybe if a time comes and we are still both free men, rank or not... there
will be a place for such things
Raziel:
::looks at you, speaking very carefully:: But I have a girlfriend.... at
least I think so......
Arjun:
Then it's settled... be with her and love her.. if you need anything that
you just might come to think she can not provide for you... come see me.
Raziel:
::his face completely red now:: I`ve never thought about anything
including sex..... I could never do that......
Arjun:
:wanting to say more of it, but seeing just how red you had become, he
walks over to you, takes your hand into his gently for a moment: Sometimes it's
not a thought... but enough... lets go somewhere away from this building at
least.. it's a nice day outside
Raziel:
::smiles at you:: Okay ::holds your hand for a moment and looks into your
eyes. Then he gets off of you and turns to the door:: Shall we visit my girls?
Arjun:
:smiling back to you for the moment as you look into his eyes, then lets
go of your hand: sure... that would be great.. lets go
