USF-011 Siphon is a modification of the USF-009 Saber. The Siphon is designed for a role of sniper and is most certainly good at its job. Though not very well armored it is a mixture of the Pro Ing frame and the Saber frame. Apex Electrons retro modified the Saber in hopes of creating a much cheaper mekton that could do just as well in combat. Unfortunately, before the project was complete Drako Tech released their ISG-012 Munition, which was very effective at taking out the Saber before it had a chance to do its damage. So an anti-Munition mekton was in need. The Siphon is armed with a 2.5 GHz Linear Beam Cannon mounted on a load bearing support coming out of the right shoulder area and a 450mm BFG Cannon mounted on a load bearing support coming out of the left shoulder area. Its long range weapons and devastating accuracy make the Siphon the ideal sniper on the battle field.
