This editor is largely based off of MS Paint. It draws pictures specifically for use in QBasic in SCREEN 13 mode with DEF SEG = &HA000

To display a picture drawn with this editor, use these commands.

DEF SEG = &HA000
BLOAD "FILE DIRECTORY" + "FILENAME"
Where "FILE DIRECTORY" is the location of the picture and "FILENAME" is the name of the picture. The pictures are 320 X 200 pixels and capable of 256 colors. The color assignments are the QBasic standard and will appear differently if used with the PALETTE command.
The last 8 color attributes are usually too dark to see, and these are the values I use for picture animation. Animation is achieved using the OUT command along with a basic loop.

Screen Editor 3.1 Button Commands

 The menu screen is accessible by right clicking on the editing screen.

Point - Places an individual point on the editing screen.
Line - Sets a line on the editing screen. Left click once to set the start point. Left click again at another point. A line will be drawn between these two points.
Fill - Fills a set area defined by the border color. On the menu screen, left click inside the color box for the filling color. Right click inside the color box for the border color. Fill will color from the pointer until it hits the border color.
Test - On the editing screen, left click on a pixel. The color of that pixel will be set as the cursor color. Test automatically switches to point once a pixel has been tested.
Text - After left clicking on the editing screen, type in the text you want. Text will only enter to the end of the screen, there is no looping. Some characters are not supported. Hit enter to set text.

New - Clears the editing screen. THERE IS NO OPTION TO SAVE BEFORE IT CLEARS THE SCREEN. BE SURE TO SAVE BEFORE SELECTING THIS.
Save - Saves the picture of a loaded picture. If no such file exists, Save prompts for a new file name.
Load - Prompts input for a previously saved file.
Save As... - Prompts input for a new file name.
Quit - Exits program and deletes temporary files. THERE IS NO OPTION TO SAVE BEFORE IT CLEARS THE SCREEN. BE SURE TO SAVE BEFORE SELECTING THIS.

Edit - Takes user to the edit screen.
Undo - Undoes to the last time Fill was used. If Fill was never used prior to Undo during the session, screen will return to a black screen.
