Description:

Heavy black combat boots started off the bottom of her rather black attire, lacing up underneath three small buckles which locked up the laces on top to make sure they stayed. Skin tight leather pants that hung to her muscular, yet slender legs and hugged her hips nicely led upwards on her outfit. A black tank top that fit snugly against her breasts and had the words "Dark Angel" on it in a deep crimson font finished off her attire. As for tattoos or piercings; she had three holes in the left ear and one in the right. A crystal blue navel ring was pierced into the flat, caramel kissed skin of her stomach. Her tattoo was in the semblance of a cuff of black barbed wire tangling around her upper left arm in a mess of spikes and craziness, much like how her mind worked. Golden-blonde tresses fell down just below her shoulders, cut in a layered style and meant to stay that way, for Rei was never one to just go out and voluntarily get a hair cut on her own. Long bangs kissed the sides of a delicately featured face, a few stray wisps falling in front of twin soft violet orbs which were vivid with color and life....and there one had Rei.

History:

The Inverse Clan

Chapter 1

A man sat alone in his cottage, watching the flames of the fire licking up the inside of the chimney wall. His black hair shown slightly in the light, harsh shadows covering his face. Soft violet eyes sparkled in the light, shards of red coloring in his eyes adding to the fearful look in his expression. He slowly stood, the shadows quickly dispersing once light hit them, his features growing soft, caring. He looked to the door, waiting for his daughter to arrive; he had been waiting all day for her to return from the woods. He wasn’t worried about the ware wolves or monsters, the girl had a knack for magics, and was good at most types. He was worried about his other daughter’s request.

“Daddy, daddy!!” the little red eyed, fiery haired girl yelled as she rushed in through the brown oak door of the small cottage. Mr. Inverse’s face lit up, he stretched out his muscular arms, slipping his fingers under the girl’s small arms, and lifting her until they were face to face. He brushed his lips against her cheek gently in a soft kiss, his newly-shaven face smooth to the touch. The girl giggled the high pitched giggle of a child. She raised a small, slightly chubby hand up to his face, running it along his cheek to the bottom of his chin, before she spoke again.

“Daddy! Wei (Rei), Fwost (Frost), and der mommy are gonna’ go pick flowers,” she spoke quickly, a smile curving across her face, her features all brightening, “Can I go too?” Those fiery eyes lit up once more, some red strands falling into her face as she awaited his answer. Her father gave her a caring smile, but he shook his head.

“No, honey, you can’t, Rei and Frost need to be with their mother.” A frown tugged at his caring features. He almost regretted what he had just said, since Lina’s mother had died when she was only a baby. A frown teased Lina’s small lips, but, being the clever five year-old she was, her features again lit up. She wriggled her way from his strong arms, plopping down onto the floor, before she stood again, those small hands reaching for his straight black pants, tugging on them lightly.

“Daddy,” she started, her voice as sweet as honey, “Can I have ‘daddy time’?” She looked so innocent, even though she was capable of destroying a whole town with one of her spells. The man’s features brightened up, he was glad he wasn’t going to have to fight with his beloved daughter. He wished he could let her go with his wife, and his two newest children, but Rei had asked to be alone with her brother and mother, and he felt it his duty to obey his children’s wishes, the innocent ones at least. He smiled down at Lina, running a large, strong hand through her red hair, his touch gentle.

“What would you like to do?” his voice was a deep, but soothing, his tone soft. The little five year old smiled brightly, keeping hold of his black pants and leading him out of the cottage. She had something in mind, but it was a secret.

Chapter 2

A low growl escaped his throat. His most trusted servants were all dead, all the rest were playing sides, and he knew it. He needed new servants, ones that would be loyal from the start. He didn’t have enough power to create anymore, and he hated “fathering” his creations. He needed a human child to convert, one who wasn’t too old, because he had to gain the child’s trust. He roughly ran his strong fingers through his dark black hair, another low growl coming from his throat. He then slowly stood from the old stone throne he was sitting in. He was tall, 7’ 2”, he wasn’t bulky however; his skill came in his swiftness.

He paced about the dreary tavern, the dank smell of death hanging in the air, his cloak softly swaying behind him. He stopped, slowly walking to the wooden doors, one of the many entrances and exits of the tavern. Setting the palm of his hand against the door, he opened the huge wooden slab. He looked to the small boy outside the door. The boy, who was clad in brown clothing, looked up at his master, no expression on his face, for he had not been fully turned demon, not yet. Phibrezo’s lips curled into a devilish smile as he patted the boy on the head.

“Hello Ryo” his voice was deep, husky. The boys gaze did not falter from his new master. Ryo only nodded, no words coming from his small lips. “I have a task for you,” Phibrezo murmured, his voice growing softer, more caring. The boy only nodded once more, still no words coming from his lips. Phibrezo went on, “I need you to find me a ten year old boy, just like you, bring him down here to me, his name is Frost.”

Ryo didn’t even nod this time, he only turned on a heel and headed down the long winding corridors of the tavern. He knew who Frost was; he had seen him in the Red Dragon Inn many times before. Ryo snapped his small fingers; a huge black monster slowly crawled out of the shadows, making a screeching sound as it moved through the narrow passageways. Ryo finally got to a dead-end. He pushed his small hand against the stone, mumbling a word in a lost demonic language. A loud cracking could be heard, and the outline of a door shone with a comforting golden light through the stone. Another loud crack and the door opened slowly, stone scraping against the wooden floor of the Red Dragon Inn.

Luckily no one was there, it was probably too early for even the most lonely souls to come into the tavern now anyway. Ryo walked to the bar, holding a hand back at the monster, cautioning for it to stay where it was. He slowly walked past the bar, his small boots thumping lightly against the floor as he made his way up the stairs of the inn, up to the third floor, where the rooms were. He had become friends with many in the inn, one of them being Frost. By knowing Frost, Ryo also knew his mother and sister. Frost’s mother had a room in the inn, which Ryo quickly found without much trouble. Ryo murmured another word, causing the door to open itself for him to enter; he did. He slowly entered, his violet orbs darting around quickly once, then twice, he then walked over to a small corner where some toys were. Ryo grabbed one of the more boyish toys, figuring this had to be Frost’s, although a lot of the toys were male toys. He figured that Frost’s sister might not like to play with toys or something.

He slowly made his way back down the steps, hopping down two at a time. He threw the toy towards the stone door, murmuring some words to the creature waiting there. That toy was for scent, so that the creature could find Frost, and bring him back down to hell. Ryo then murmured one more word, the stone scraping against the wooden floor once more, closing the door, the crack quickly sealing in a soft black glow. He then turned towards the door and slowly made his way out, his job was done for now, he was going to take a break.

Chapter 3

She knelt down in the bed of flowers, crystal blue oculars darting about in search of her children. She slowly started humming an old lullaby she used to sing them; her voice, sweet as honey, could be heard from rather far away. She kept humming, in hopes this would bring Rei and Frost over to her. A small smile teased at her lips as she laid back, trying to think of what the two could be up to.

Chapter 4

A loud pitter-patting of feet could be heard, chorused together with happy laughing as a young girl quickly ran from her older brother. A flash of pink and blue clothing and golden-blonde tresses could be seen as the girl ran through the large field of flowers. Soft violet hues quickly darted around as she looked for another twist she could make to confuse the boy chasing her. Another loud fit of laughter erupted from her mouth, echoing to the boy’s ears. The gig was up, she’d surely be caught now; but to keep the game up she turned left, falling right into a small ditch covered by flowers. Instead of getting up she stayed low to the ground, soft violet oculars quickly darting about in search for the boy.

Leaping over this and almost tripping over that was the basic pattern of clumsy running that the boy seemed to be doing. A flash of blue could be seen as he ran; the mixture of his ice blue hair and skin tinged with blue. He flashed through the flowers right after his sister, staying quiet, as he had been taught to. This wasn’t a war, but it was still a game he intended to win. Following the sound of her laughter, he came upon a small patch of flowers that looked oddly different; most of them looked as if they had been crushed. The stems were snapped and petals lay in ruins all over the ground around the patch. For a moment he just stood there as those ice blue orbs scanned the small patch, but he dared not go farther, he felt evil brewing slowly up through the ground there and the look in his eyes would tell anyone the exact same thing.

Soft violet hues peered out of the patch of flowers she had collided down into. She sat there silently, studying the features that seemed to be contorting on her brother’s face. Her brows furrowing as she brought in an unsteady gasp for air. Something was starting to choke her; maybe it was the tears suddenly welling up in her eyes. Her brother actually looked scared, he was never scared. Finally being able to pool enough of her strength to stand up, she did. Quickly getting up, looking up at her brother, seeing his eyes suddenly go wide, then narrow with hate.

Was she the one who was bringing the evil? Ice blue eyes glassed over with tears as the 10-year-old reached for his belt, taking the small ceramic dagger that was tucked into the thin tan belt. He gripped the dagger in his hands as he choked back words of sorrow, a lump forming in his throat as tears welled up in his eyes, dying to be spilt for his sister. He was frozen, but he had to do something, he felt evil all around his sister. It must be her and it would be his job to stop it from spreading throughout the rest of his family.

She gasped as she saw him draw that dagger. She staggered back only to let out a loud scream as a large, sinuous, claw reached up through the earth, impaling the small child. Her eyes opened widely as she convulsed, blood dripping from her mouth, nose, and from the impaling wound, the one convulse was her last movement. The girl then went limp, impaled on the creature’s large black claw, crimson blood dripping down its shiny surface; the blood of an innocent.

Frost, seeing this, dropped the dagger and fell back in horror. The tears that had welled in his eyes were quickly flowing down his cheeks now. How could he have doubted his sister so? Why did she have to die like this? Pulling himself quickly up, so he wouldn’t suffer the same fate, he quickly turned, fists clenching at his sides. He then ran, tears springing into the wind, staining it with the salt of pained sorrow. He never turned back.

Behind him the Gates of Hell had opened, allowing the claw to plunge down into the hell it had come from. The Sixth Hell, bringing the lifeless form of Rei along with it. A small white light seemed to be also impaled on the creature’s massive, twisted claw. Rei’s soul was trapped along with her body on the claw. It was condemned to follow her body into the depths of Hell.

Chapter 5

A coy smile spread across Phibrezo’s face as Rei was lowered into the ground, although, once he saw her, his mood turned sour. That wasn’t who he had asked for. He wanted Frost Inverse, not his younger sister! A low growl escaped his throat, pulling his upper lip up in the corner. He then lowered it, letting out a sigh; demons weren’t what they used to be. He had to make due with what he had been given. Those slited twin orbs of purple turned towards the small child that now lay on the large stone table in front of him. What to do with her? She was small, and a girl, he had no uses for her. Mayhap he should just let her stay dead. No, he’d let her live, if it came right down to it, he could merely make her a nice bedroom slave, once she was of age, of course.

Kneeling beside the small figure now on the floor of his domain, he looked over her, clicking his tongue a bit against the roof of his mouth in distaste, how could she amount to anything? She looked to be such a frail little girl. Ah well, he moved a hand over to the gapping hole in her chest, placing his palm down on the hole. A silver glow illuminated from his finger tips, spreading down his fingers, and then into the palms of his hands. The light then transferred onto the girl’s wounds, shredded and torn flesh sewing together once more, healing, and leaving not even the smallest of scars in its wake. He then murmured a couple of words in an ancient demonic tongue, forming his lips into a small “o” and blowing down onto the small child’s forehead, literally breathing life into her.

He let a warm smile curve his lips, snake-like in its nature, though it got the job done. He wanted to look like a caring man when she awoke; loyalty was stronger when it was won, than it was when it was created. Thin lids fluttered open, violet hues that were quite a few shades lighter then Phibrezo’s deep violets opening up to the world, to meet his own. He held out a hand to the girl, that smile still planted on his face, “Good morning, little one, that was quite a fall you had.”

And so it began, Rei, a captive without knowing it, her memory of what small amount of past she’d had nearly fully erased from the shock of the experience. Phibrezo taking place as her master, her father, her owner. So she was raised, in the depths of the Sixth Hell, as his own. Growing to a woman and becoming quite the ally, one Phibrezo would never have dreamed she could have become. What to future had in store for her, though, was quite a different story, to be told a different time, this story being Phibrezo’s most despised…
