Appearance: Just like his younger sister, Kai, Yan's heritage gives him exotic good looks, and he knows this. He knows he's good looking and dresses in ways that just tend to accent that. He's never seen in clothing that isn't tailored to fit him just so, and this includes his 'dress down' items. He wears his inky black hair rather short, but long enough to where it doesn't look military short. He has an atheltic build due to years of martial arts instruction, but beyond that he really doesn't need to do much to keep his body in shape.

Personality: Yan tends to be rather cold hearted with those he deems unworthy of his time, and even with those he does, he's hardly the poster boy of friendliness. Though he is able at times to pass off that he might have a heart, most find it rather hard to believe having seen some of the people who had somehow managed to get on the wrong side of him. The only person that actually ever sees the softer side of his would have to be his 'baby' sister Kai. He's fiercely loyal to his family, and his business and won't let anything get in the way of either.

History: Yan grew up knowing that one day he would take over the club his father opened shortly after the family moved from China when he was barely three years old. He spent most of his childhood learning the ropes of the business his father was attempting to become the largest club of it's sort in the underground world of LA. Yan eventually convinced his father to open the Club as an actual club with a twist so to speak. While the Globe was able to pass off being a trendy dance club, in actuality that was merely a front. The club was actually the operations of a very high class prostitution ring.

Yan, once he was old enough to actually work in the family business, quickly took his place next to his father, and slowly began making all decisions that effected everything. But always, he made sure his sister Kai had no knowledge of what the club is really about. Thankfully, she'd never shown any interest in helping out with the runnings of the place and has instead turned to academics. She's recently gotten a job at JS Productions, and though he wasn't sure if he wanted her to work there, he finally relented. Besides it would keep her away from the club and would keep her from spending a lot of time with her friend Taylor Howard.

Yan has big plans for his club, and has been working on plans to open a few other clubs. He also has plans for his sister, and they don't include Taylor Howard. But Yan likes to think that he has something over Mr.Howard now that the boy is working for him. He knows Kai would never approve of the job her friend has agreed to partake in. While he does love his sister, he's hoping that someday he'll be able to arrange a marraige for her that will benefit his business dealings.

Circle of Friends: He doesn't really call a lot of people "friends" more like aquantiances. Though he doesn't mind spending time with Jared Lefabre, Faith Sanchez, and of course the lovely Brandi Lefabre.
