Appearance: For a man of his age, Declan is very handsome and most wanted around the town. He has thick stylish gray and black hair that is cut at a nice length by his hair stylist. He has the most intense green eyes that could stare the truth out of you. Declan is only seen in the stylish clothes around. He has a wardrobe stylist that picks out his clothes every morning and have them lying on his bed for him to wear. His work attire is mainly top of the line suits ranging from many different colors. He does dresses down when he's not heading to work and can be seen wearing anything from shorts to pants and t-shirts. He manages to pull those off with style.

Personality: Declan is strong willed, ambitious, and greedy. He sees money as his way in life and is always working to keep himself on top of the game. He has a mean streak to him and isn't afraid to let it be shown. He has trust issue with a lot of people and would tell them in a drop of a dime that he doesn't approve of them and that he would like them to stay clear from him. Declan knows he could have anything and everything in life and he goes about doing so. He have made himself the big man in town. He is feared by many and liked by others. He doesn't care who likes him or not, he wasn't put on this earth for them to like him only to agree with his terms. He knows he have many enemies in his own family, but that still doesn't stop him for being who he is and that's Declan Litrell. He is as close as a man like him can be with most of his children, though he continues to treat Cassidy and Griffin with contempt. His daughter Avery is without question the favorite, and he dotes on her accordingly.

History: Declan Washington Litrell was born into money. He is very much his fathers son. Strong willed, ambitious, and greedy. He has only had one true love in his life, and that is Mercedes Buchanan, the sister of his belated Wife. While courting Sydney Buchanan, Declan was having an affair with Divorcee Mercedes Buchanan. It was a union that his father would never approve of, due to the fact that Mercedes had already been married once before, and had something of a reputation around town.

He did however marry his lover’s younger and somewhat less attractive sister to secure his inheritance, but he resented her every day that they were married, eventually renewing his affair with Mercedes. When she fell pregnant with her son Tyler, Mercedes called off the affair, telling Declan that the child was not his. Heart-broken and furious, Declan became even more unbearable to live with. He no longer hid his extra-marital affairs. Instead he flaunted them in front of his wife, knowing that she would never dare to leave him.

He however still needed her. He wanted a son, one that he could call his own. Declan wasn’t foolish enough to believe that Cassidy & Griffin were his own children, and as far as he was concerned, he still needed a boy. An heir so to speak. Somebody who would one day take his place as the true head of the family, not some half breed from an affair his wife had. Avery was the first of his children that Declan was actually fond of. She was, from day one her fathers child, and in Declan’s eyes, she is a perfect angel.

His recent marriage to Morgan was not one of love, but one of convenience to him. He fancied himself as a man who could have a beautiful young wife, and that is exactly what he got. Declan is not foolish however. He forced her to sign a pre-nup stating that if she committed adultery, she wouldn’t get a red cent out of him.

Vehicle: A black fully loaded Mercedes Benz with tinted windows. He also has a stretch limo that he rides in for the most part, finding he doesn't have time to do his own driving.
