TECHNICAL DETAILS:

Body: Carbine wasn't designed as a combat reploid, and so her body is designed for versatility in her role over straightforward durability or power. Her 'base-line' is an essentially human form (female), though there are obvious sockets and clasps where her armour and tools connect to, as well as several ports at her wrists and collar; she wasn't designed to try and hide the reploid nature. Her armour is fully detachable, intended to allow her to switch to different suits or use none, as proved most efficient for her task. Her 'standard' armour mount (as pictured) provides more than adequate protection for her intended role, though less than a combat model would like. Notably the forearm mounts enable her to integrate a range of tools into her armour, depending on what she requires.
Weapons: Carbine doesn't have any intended weapons, but she does have the capability to do some damage. Most of her tool-attachments can be mis-used as weaponry if it needs be, but in general this requires overstressing the weapon and requiring that it be stripped down and rebuilt after prolonged use like this. Notable among her potential weapons are her cutting beam (which can function as a sort of low-power beamknife), her riveter (can be overloaded to effectively fire the rivets, but this usually doesn't last for more than a half-dozen shots before the accelerators overheat) and her borer (Do I need to spell this out? Its like a big drill, use your imagination). She is loathe to use any of these unless needed though, mostly because her nature is against injurying others, and because she doesn't enjoy damaging her equipment and having to repair it.

PERSONA: Carbine seems human enough to 'pass', if one wasn't aware of reploids or didn't pay too close attention. This is part of her design, as she was intended to be a reploid link between humans and purely robotic production. As such she needed to be human enough for people to interact with on a professional level, in terms of their requirements or specifications. Little effort was put into developing her 'humanity' beyond this. As such she will seem friendly and approachable on the surface level, but much more than casual conversation reveals a highly ordered and calculating mind well suited to her role. She tends to be quite serious when she's approaching anything on a technical level, and when she encounters troubles her reploid nature emerges in her methodical approach to solving them. She does, however, enjoy her work greatly, and while she depends most heavily on careful work and investigation, she does have her moments of intuitive insight. As one would expect form a reploid essentially built for a service role, she tends to be as helpful as she can manage.
HISTORY: Carbine was one of a limited series of 'overseer' reploids produced roughly a month before mavericks began to occur. She was unremarkable from any of the others of her design, and took a place as an overseer of a completely mechanized production facility. As the mavericks began to occur she was saved from infection by being isolated from other reploids by her location; as of yet she hasn't come into contact with the virus.... a fortunate thing as she uses Cain's vulnerable code. As one of the non-mavericks and one essentially managing her own plant (though it wasn't hers) she felt that the anti-reploid sentiment was an unfair reflection against those like herself. Though not a member, she had strong Repliforce leanings, and when that organisation was corrupted and then destroyed she found herself out of job and favour. As such, she took off on her own to find some way to best fulfill her Purpose....
