Something different
At the start of the session The Barbarian and Goblin are sent to get bread from the bakers but the baker is out of flower so they have to get flower from the mill at the other side of town. The pair know they are being followed and jump on the culprit and almost kill the scrawniest 10 year old human you've ever seen. They heal the child and offer it food (The meat of the bones of an old hag). As they are now walking past the temple of ezra they hear a scream "Mummy Waaaaaah!" coming from the direction of an old manse, they rush to investige and see the parties jester land in a heap of mangled flesh on the floor. The goblin, wearing mini platemail decideds to heal an unconcious party member (jester) and criticaly fails the roll.. then critically fails the arcane failure roll "Boom" out like a light.. The parties Barbarian then decides to slap the goblin awake snapping his neck. then as the goblin fails to move, the barbarian decides to keep trying to wake the goblin by kicking him in the lower back.. Eventually another party member picks the goblin up, runs to the nearest temple of Ezra (doing more damage in the process) To be met by a grey man with grey robe who offers to heal the Goblin for a Hemlock peice (SP) and a signiture on a peice of paper, the elf carrying the goblin declines, but agrees when the priest drops the price to a signiture. they sign the paper the goblin wakes up ok, a sickly oily mist appears in the room and the priest disapears. They eventually get the flower, and the baker bakes the bread. More Later

Name: Hollis the Druid

On the way to the Temple of Ezra, the party ran straight past the Inn where I was sitting, waiting for them to come back with bread and information! They could have been healed for free, instead it cost them their Souls! What effect this will have on them I am not sure, but they should be aware that I will be keeping a very close watch on them from now on.
