Marianna Barclay

Athro: Homid, Galliard, Children of Gaia

Position: Short term leader of the Sept of the Glade.

Image: Marianna is a tall, mature, but still pretty lady. She is thin and prefers long flowing hippy dresses. Her hair is long and ash blonde and she often wears sandals or clogs.

History:  A popular and friendly lady from the outset, whose life was complicated with her first change. She soon used her new found powers to help Gaia through organised demonstrations and protests. Although she is at heart a peaceful woman, she does have a sharp temper when riled, which she can direct into leadership abilities. She had several long-term kinfolk lovers but has never produced any children. She helped negotiate with the Get-of-Fenris when the majority of their Ahroun's went to the Sept of the Legion and secured some capable warriors to help protect the Cairn. It was only her that prevented the Gets from taking over during those years of hardship, and still the Cairn lost much of it's character during the Gets militarisation. She eventually replaced Rod Peterson after he was killed as Cairn leader. It did not last long though, and a Silver Fang soon challenged and replaced her as Cairn leader. Corvac though, turned out to be a good thing, he brought the stability the Cairn needed and she grew to respect him. Recently Corvac was replaced by a Haephodant and the Cairn fell during the moot. There has been no word from Marianna, and it is unsure if she still lives.

Lu-Tsu says: Charming lady, wise of the world and a pleasure to converse with.

Dr. David Spendlove

Elder: Homid, Ahroun, Fianna

Position: Cairn leader of the Cairn of the Giant's Chair

Image: A balding thin faced gentleman with slicked back hair. Dresses as a professional and an enigmatic look always on his face.

History: David was always clever. As a young man his university career was going well until a late first change hit him. His Kin fetch long having left him, did not alert the Fianna to his plight and the Spirals got to him first. Due to his intelligence and some home made explosives he escaped the Spirals clutches and finally got picked up by the Cairn of the Giant's Chair, back then a large well established open Cairn. There he learnt the ways and quickly established himself as an Ahroun worthy of note. Then nearly 8 years later the Black Spirals set up a Cairn in Oban after the Fall of St. Albans and using a new type of Wyrmling - the Braindog, destroyed many of the Cairn's Fianna. The shield was constantly under assault, the Cairn began to reduce in power, and today it sill has not recovered. Spendlove became the wartime leader, he then changed the Cairn to a hidden Cairn, and prevented new comers unless fully approved by him and the Cairn guardian With a few of the remaining Fianna he devised a new rite - The Rite of Forgetfulness. With the aid of this rite, few people remained to recall the location of the Cairn. His clever actions saved the Cairn but political the Cairn is null and void, with many Garou just not trusting him of his Sept.

David 'Salmon-on-Sea'

Adren: Homid, Ahroun, Uktena

Position: Cairn Guardian at the Cairn of the Giant's Chair

Image: Salmon-on-Sea is a huge moody Indian, his face is expressionless and his hair glossy and jet black. He often wears traditional Indian clothes on Garou business or about the Cairn, or baggy casuals if in the public eye. He will always wear a symbol of his totem though - Salmon.

History: Salmon-on-Sea came from Arizona, where he grew up and did his Rite of Passage. His totem at the time, Uktena, requested him to complete a quest which took him from his home. When he returned his kinfolk wife had been raped and murdered by Formori. He blamed Uktena. He left Arazonia, turning his back on his tribe and all who followed the water snake, he went to Greenland. There he met and befriended a Garou called David Spendlove who asked him to join his Cairn. Salmon-on-Sea accepted and in two years had a new totem and had risen to Cairn Guardian at the Giant's Chair. Salmon-on-Sea is a key supporter in keeping the Cairn hidden via the 'Rite of the Hidden Glen' , it ensures his old family will never find him. Salmon-on-Sea is a moody individual who spends most of his time pondering on the life he could have had.

Hepecarter

Elder: Homid, Ahroun, Black Fury

Position: Head of the Cairn of Past Days and spokesperson for the tribe in Great Britain

Image: A graying brunette in her late thirties. She ebbs a great deal of confidence, has a threatening posture. She can be kind and gentle but at the same time is intolerant of the weak and has a wide range of facial expressions to show this. Her clothes tend towards the Greek tunic which is the Cairn's customary dress. Out of Cairn and in public she wears utility clothing, combats, khakis and such. She has all the mannerisms of a survivalist and has a slight German accent. She also has a missing left breast.

History: A head strong pup that came to the ivory shores full of ideas and enthusiasm. Her elders thought she was trouble and in time she proved them right. She met challenge and task full on and earned a great deal of honor and glory. Her wisdom was tempered by the Wyld, and her anger reinforced by the Get-of-Fenris and Shadow Lords contempt of her. She became a keeper of the land at a failing Shadow Lord cairn in the Isle of Man. She met Livila and the two helped the fall of the Shadow Lord cairn - and the rise of the Black Fury

Livila

Athro: Homid, Ahroun, Black Fury

Position: Cairn Guardian (Warder) of the Cairn of Past Days

Image: An elderly Garou, yet still more than capable in her mannerisms and wits. She appears as an old lady with gray curly hair often held in a Romanic style fashion. She is starting to get minor shakes in her arms but no one dare say whether this is approaching senility or a manifestation of her rage.

History: She has an American past which is more clouded in rumor and hearsay than in hard facts. One thing is for certain is she is a serial man killer, and it takes very little for her to take a man's life. She has an almost Red Talon fervor for this and she never denied the rumor that she killed JFK. Any serious historian could quickly prove this to be false, but Livila remains proud of the fact. Underneath her simmering fury she also can manifest a genuine fear of becoming unable to keep her health and therefore her position. Livila has always wanted to be a Cairn leader and she knows her time is limited in which she will be able to achieve this. She has begun to make mistakes in her urge to attain the most important position and Hepecarter would otherwise dispose of her but Livila remains the leader of the Cairns 'Curse of Adam' faction.

Omar One Leap

Elder: Homid, Ahroun, Silent Strider

Position: Temporary leader and Warder of the Sept of the Etesian Wind

Image: Omar is a rugged man with white hair and a stern look, often wearing a face cover or a head wrap.

History: Omar was a dedicated and dutiful Garou that watched over this Cairn and the Umbral tower that this Cairn guards. However things began to deteriorate for the prosperous Garou when he fell in love with the Cairns female rite master Badr-al-Dujja. Their on going love produced predictably and disastrously a Metis child. Even though the child was still born the perceived disgrace tore the couple apart in a volley of mutual recriminations. This was the situation that Omar faced the moment his uncle, the Cairn leader, was slain by a Wyrm corrupted mage. Omar was thrust into Cairn leadership while also trying to maintain the Warder post. So far he has barely held it together and is looking for a new rite master to replace his old wife. He is also looking for a new warder or even a Cairn leader that he has the confidence to pass on some of the responsibility. The Cairn is coming on dark times and the couples hatred for each other may still lead the cairn into destruction.

Lord Gillait

Elder: Homid, Ahroun, Shadow Lord

Position: The Cairn leader of the Cairn of the Castle and also X Garou high king of England

Image: A stocky black haired, man with black goatee beard. He has the distinctive lock of white hair in his fringe, looking like his brother Kendrick. He has a swaggering posture and often bears the first ever punch-Klaive (a squat fat bladed Klaive favoured by the British Shadow Lords.

History: From a long line of powerful and fortunate Garou that had many heroes through out the French and English wars. His brother Kendrick always seemed to hog the lime light, and Lord Gillait never cared much for him. He is reputed to have smiled at news of Kendrick's death and the fall of the Cairn of the Lost Pups, yet showing a public sorrow. With his brother out of the way he worked to restore the Cairn of the Lost Pups and install a leader that he could control - Jonathan Brimble. During this time he managed to build the support (mainly his brothers support) and reputation to challenge the High king, and in a short battle killed him. The new High King went about changing things for the better for the Shadow Lords in the British Isles. It took many years for him to lose his public support until he recently lost a challenge by King Lothar of the Get of Fenris. Luckily he survived the contest and managed to pick up his pride and carry on with intnt to put an end to King Lothar. Despite his lowered status he remains one of the most dangerous Garou in England. Though a faint shadow of his brother Lord Gillaits deeds speak for themselves, there are not many Garou alive that can claim to have killed a Nexus Crawler.

King Lothar

Elder: Homid, Ahroun, Get Of Fenris

Position: Leader of the Sept of the Flying Death and the Garou High King of England

Image:  A towering hulk of a man that can can stare down at some of the biggest American wrestlers. His fiery red hair is plated and he often wears a police uniform or combat khakis. He is not known for his conversation or his wits.

History: The man was a beast before first change a man capable of bending metal bars. Growing up as a petty criminal with several anti-social behavior orders against his name, fiirst change meant he never ever needed to worry about getting caught. Before rank 1 he had killed his mentor for showing weakness and fear in the face of the Wyrm. He quickly gained renown and rose to Cairn leader within 5 years. He was a 'no nonsense' leader and if the Get were not so hated within England no doubt he would have got much further. However at the Grand moot 2003 what people thought of him no longer mattered as he challenged and defeated Lord Gillait in single combat. Though Gillait fought well, he knew he had lost before the challenge had been made. King Lothar allowed him to live to fight the Wyrm as he had fought with honor and had provided the most difficult challenge so far. Under his leadership the Garou of England have made some pretty rash decisions and the fight against the Wyrm has not gone well. King Lothar puts this down to weak fighters and a lack of conviction in face of the enemy. His blunders and preparation to throw the whole country into the mouth of the Wyrm in an attempt to choke it has not sat well with the more tactical Cairns and their complaints to the main land has encouraged the Silver Fangs to build the Dover Cairn. They hope to take the Kingship of the mad man even though he could fell half a dozen capable Ahroun.

Stephen Rothman

Athro: Homid, Ahroun, Get Of Fenris

Position: Political advisor and Cairns representative to the English Cairns

Image: A South African with a thick accent with curly short blonde-brown hair. Often seen wearing desert army wares.

History: A trooper and farm defender in the lands of South Africa, he quickly gained a unpleasant hatred for the black man who he considers as a planetary parasite. After much of the farm land had been pillaged and looted by the black raiders he no longer had no reason to stay in the homeland. Before he left he massacred all the raiders and their families. The African came to England, his ancestral home, and joined up with the strongest Get he could find and tried to make some use for his life in Gaia's scheme. He ironically got thrust into the nations politics and was used as a representative for the Cairn across the country. He has maintained this role for over 10 years and has become the most recognised Get in Britain.
